TOPIC: Things to Fix on the Main Site

When a user clicks their profile link they are taken to a URL with an extraneous } character at the end of the URL, e.g.:

truedungeon.com/forum/profile?view=user&userid=11495 }

This doesn't inhibit the page from loading, but technically the } character is invalid in a URL and must be escaped. As a consequence, when users cut and paste their forum profile URL into some other things that validate URLs they are rejected as invalid URLs.

Removing that } character takes you to the profile page as expected.

Can this } be removed? Or if not could it be URL encoded?

It matters to me because my Merlin's Well giveaway program asks users for these URLs to ensure they are a level 1-4 player, and the Google forms won't accept the URL with the } as a valid URL.

I think it is that way to help fight automated spam, but I'll ask the webmaster.

According to truedungeon.com/how-to-play/item/12-rewards 8th level is attained at 28,000 XP, and this appears to match the actual behavior of the software.

However, both truedungeon.com/xp and the chart on p48 of the PHB ("last updated September 16, 2020" edition) currently list 8th level as 30,000 XP. The cutoff for 10th level is also different (60,000 in these two places vs 70,000 at the first URL).

On a related note, it would be super handy if the per-user individual xp details screen at truedungeon.com/component/gamemanagement/gameaccount would also display the numerical XP needed for next level (not just the graphical progress bar), so I wouldn't actually need to go look in any of those other places.

Still lists Cloak of Shadowskin as exchangable. Per the tokendb "The 2014 version of Cloak of Shadowskin will no longer be usable after Jan 31st, 2020. You must exchange your 2014 version for the 2019 version before that date."
It also still lists Lenses of Divine Sight. Also should have ended Jan 31st 2020.

Lucky Set
When two items are equipped, the wearer's maximum HP increases by 5. There is no additional bonus if a character somehow manages to equip all three items.

Should "Upcoming Events" be updated with the dates Lori gave us for 5b and 5c?

Not just yet.

Not that it's a high priority, but the different cons could stand an update on the Upcoming Events page.

Origins for example, as well as GenCon and others.

XP thresholds on the How to Enter True Dungeon XP page and the PHB do not agree with the thresholds on the Rewards & XP page or Top Players ranking:

• 8th level should be attained at 28,000 XP, not 30,000
• 10th level should be attained at 70,000 XP, not 60,000

XP ranges should be consistent now.
