We really hope to do a full 7-room event in 2025 at Origins. Running a 7-room dungeon in 2024 was just not in the cards due to our allotted space. If all goes well in 2024, we will get more space for 2025.

Understood! Just kind of funny, I remember the first year TD was at Origins... there was way too much space!
Classes Played: Barbarian (65 times), Monk (56), Ranger (33), Rogue (25), Cleric (21), Fighter (13), Druid (12), Paladin (11), Dwarf Fighter (10), Bard (7), Elf Wizard (2), Wizard (2)

I'm guessing there wont be XP to be had for higher level players.

XP: Con-Quest uses the standard method of determining XP for running an adventure: 650 + 50 per room entered. This means if your character enters Room Four alive, you'll get 850 XP for playing a Con-Quest event. All players are eligible for gaining XP for this event.

Is this the same con-quest XP from Gencon 2023? Or will this origins con-quest be run at other cons to get that XP? Or is this origins or nothing?
this is not a signature.

Since this is a different event, the XP for "The Golden Obelisk" a whole different XP source than the other Con-Quest event from 2023 Gen Con. We will also run this Origin's "The Golden Obelisk" at Gen Con...and those two events are in the same XP pool since they are the same adventure.

I can't wait to sign up to Volunteer for set-up! I honestly think that is my favorite park of TD. I love playing, but putting together the dungeon is utter magic.
Building Dungeons and stocking them with Monsters, now that is the life...

Setting up and taking down the dungeon is tremendous FUN!
I volunteer to do this every year they have TD at Origins

For the sealed Golden Obelisk run is there a choice for level of the run (normal vs hardcore ect) and does everyone play at lvl 4 since no tokens can be brought to increase to lvl 5?

The Golden Obelisk at Gen Con is a sealed-pack adventure. You may only play it on the Normal or Hardcore challenge rating. Even though you may not equip a treasure-enhancer, if you're at least a 6th-level player and you show your Signet of Nobility (or higher player- level reward ) to your coach, you'll earn one extra treasure draw at the end of this adventure. Players who are at least 9th level and show their Badge of Nobility token (or 10th-Level Amulet) also gain their level benefit of +1 to AC.

All characters for The Golden Obelisk are 4th level.
Have you looked it up in the TDb?

Here's another good page to visit for more info:

truedungeon.com/con-quest

And here's the answer (from that page) to a question about earning XP for this that I have seen come up before:

"(Playing Con-Quest on Hardcore earns the same amount of XP as on Normal mode.)"

One more question. If you have a Safehold are you allowed to bring your Hirelings? I could see this being similar to the level reward tokens but also as a previously acquired token.

Followers, Hirelings, Sidekicks, and/or Underlings are not permitted in sealed pack runs.

I'm on the Local Install & Dismantle Crew! Looking forward to seeing everyone at 10:00 on Wednesday, June 19th.

I did not sign up to play this year. Just Set-Up and Tear-Down. OK, you all know where my heart is now. I dig dungeons and breed monsters.
