TOPIC: Dispel Confusion for Early Access to Tickets

Dispel Confusion for Early Access to Tickets 13 hours 7 minutes ago #1

Sorry for the confusion that may have been caused during my interview on Trent's show. I think the term "patrons" was used, and I should have said "4-year patrons" to be more clear. Those 4-year patrons who can make a MoE are the folks who can make a Mark of Enlightenment -- and thus gain early access to tickets on Jan. 10th, 2026.

As per the patron page: truedungeon.com/patron

IMPORTANT NOTE: 2026 Patrons gain lots of cool perks in 2026, but they will not gain early access to tickets at Ring Con. Only collectors who have crafted a Mark of Enlightenment prior to January 10th, 2026 (when tickets go on sale for Ring Con events for MoE transmuters) can have first dibs on event tickets. Everyone else can buy tickets on January 11th, 2026.

I wish this had been clearer at the time :( , but the new rule does make sense.

I'm now really really glad that each human can only claim one ticket for Grind until everyone has had a shot at them. That's still true, right?

David,

That is correct. Right now we have it set so that every ticketed "adventure" at Ring Con has a limit of one ticket per account. This was the best solution we could come up with.

Hi Lori,

Just to clarify, if I'm coordinating a group of 10 to attend, and I have redeemed 10 Rings, can I only buy one ticket per event or can I buy one for each of our 10 people? Will all 10 people have to set up accounts and buy a ticket (which in my case there is pretty much zero chance that will happen). I'm hoping I can do it all myself. Maybe if we provide the names for the ticket that will assure that nobody is doing more than one run?

Thanks!
Mike

Would recommend the following changes to the Ring Con page ( truedungeon.com/ring-con ):

January 10, 2026

Ticket sales open for Ring Con events to Mark of Enlightenment Patrons:
The Sacred Circle (Requires transmuted RoSC CODE).
Fang and Fury (Requires transmuted RoSC CODE, no ticket limit)
True Grind: The Cracks of Doom (Requires transmuted RoSC CODE)
The Sacred Path (Patron-only; requires both transmuted RoSC and MoE CODES)

January 11, 2026
General ticket sales open for all Ring Con events
Requires transmuted RoSC CODE .

General comment on this FAQ:

I always do all the coordination and tokens for my entire group. Will I be able to transmute all 10 tokens for our group, and use those codes for those 10 Rings to buy a complete run for my group? Or will each person in my group have to create an account and redeem a Ring code? I hope I'm able to do it all myself, maybe that would work if I provide the names of all 10 members in my group?

Every person that wants to buy an event ticket for Ring Con must make an account at td.events in order to utilize a code to buy a ticket. We need their real name so we can check ID at the start of the event. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but that is the limitation of our software.

The question doesn't read as fully "answered" to me. If I'm crafting 2 Rings (me + Catherine), can I send both in and I would receive 2 codes and just need to make sure she has her own td.events account and then provide her a code? I'm guessing that is true (that I'd just receive 2 codes similar to a GT and Patron email from an 8K)

Thanks!

It kind of sounds like I could just make 10 accounts myself, using their actual names for the accounts I create for them, and input the codes and pay for the tickets myself. That would still allow TD to check ID at the start of the event.
