Good question, based on what we know now I don't see a reason for the Mark/Tattoo slot to be on the mat. Only newbies use the mat.

Hi Jeff!

Just from an aesthetics POV, I'd recommend adding something like Mark under the Bonus Figurine circle. The entire page is symmetrical except for the missing circle under the bonus figurine. Plus, if Marks might be in future 10 packs, you're forward designing to account for that.

Also aesthetics, I'd recommend moving the Bead circles to the left so that the right two beads line up with the first two Ioun Stones, and move the Charms to the right so that the first two Charms line up with the last two Ioun Stones. Another way to think of it is the three Beads would line up with the finger/finger/waist circles. That would have all of the tokens lining up in the same rows, and give some separation between beads and charms. :)

According to my phone the actual URL embedded in this QR code is qrs.ly/egerau5 which currently redirects to truedungeon.com/welcome but only as long as the webserver at qrs.ly is willing to play ball. Just in case our new token mats outlive that webserver, it might be more future-proof to have a QR code that embeds truedungeon.com/welcome directly.

Here's one I just generated from www.qrcode-monkey.com/ using default settings; you can also ask it for a different resolution if you want.

I agree with you on shifting the Bead/Charms. As for the missing circle under the Bonus Figurine I like Smak's idea of a "Slotless" circle. Gives the player a circle to put a Token if they pull a Slotless one and introduces them to the concept.

Sure, I just want a circle there so it's symmetrical. I like the idea of introducing players to slotless tokens, and they very well might get on in the 10 pack.

I still say a Slotless circle. New players won't have slot expander Tokens. At least I don't think they will. Are there any slot expanders at the C/UC/R level? I would have to look.

Put the offhand tokens next to each other with a dashed circle between so you can put a single token for both, Add dashed semi-circles next to slots with the first level of expanders so the added tokens have a place. Do figurines add anything on the party card? Another row at the bottom could be added for slotless and others.

The image looks wider now. I half assume this was already considered, but just to be on the safe side, the extra space won’t crowd the coaching tables too much, once multiple of these are attached to a table, and the tables are arranged in coaching in the typical way?

I like the green for the “major” slots, and the Beads, Charms, and IS being all together in one area.

Would fading the text on the Bonus figurine and the Extra slot help visually emphasize how unusual it is for the players who typically use the mats to have something for those slots?

I'm (over?)thinking putting them around 70% opacity or so would look about right...
