I like the reprint of Stu-pendous. Sweetwood is likely to be an ingredient for the fighter legendary, so I’m fine with doing both of them.

What does Lucky Cloak transmute to?
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

Currently Stu's is the fighter relic upgrade.

Don't believe Lucky cloak goes into anything

The designation under it is for the /sets, which they added along with the /multi-year and /transmute

Yes, I misread that. Should have put my glasses on first.

Yes. My point was that Sweetwood is fine to print as well, especially if it winds up In the legendary recipe

Jinn's Magebook Medallion is extremely weak as a neck slot token. The versatility is definitely nice to have but it's a damage loss to equip it. Can you please put it back to being a slotless token? It's fine as slotless but needs a power buff as a neck slot item.

Running both the Relic and UR would only allow you to slot in additional common and uncommon scrolls, I don't think that would cause any stacking issues.

Oh - wow - I missed the slot swap.

Yeah - this strikes me as facing stiff competition from Amulet of Shock (rare), MMM, Charm Necklace, and current year Medallion of the Sweetwoods which gives the Wizard +10 HP, +2 Fort, +1.5 AC, Ranged to-hit, and Reflex.

Yeah.

And previous year UR starters were stackable. I think it could be resolved for this one by simply adding "counts as Jinn's Spellbook" on the Relic/Legendary so they do not stack and placing this back into the slotless area.

As a slotless I assume most Wizards who PYP will PYP for one. As a Necklace I assume only those making the Relic will.

Agree. Jinn's Medallion in the neck slot will only be used as a transmute to the relic. If it was slotless and stacked with the relic/legendary, then it was worth picking up just to have a Spellbook. The additional common and uncommon spells would likely only be used in special circumstances. It would allow things like adding Stone to Flesh "just in case" its needed.

As it is, you just go straight to the relic and add enough rare damage spells to assure you have flexibility for all the elements: fire, cold, shock and sonic. Then throw in some poison, acid or force and if the monster has any weaknesses, you're covered. The only way your using special case scrolls is if you have advance knowledge of what your facing in the dungeon.

You may also be able to tailor your attacks in a room based on bardic lore knowledge.

I'm not sure everyone caught it, but in addition to moving to the neck slot, the Magebook Medallion now gives you 5 EXTRA spells with full damage bonuses instead of marking off existing boxes.
