Dispeling Confusion: Ring Con 2026 3 months 3 weeks ago #1

We are seeing some confusion regarding our special TD Ring Con event in 2026. Sorry for the poor communication. We should make it more clear where all the current info is shown.

The biggest misunderstanding now seems to be about who can attend the special "Path of Enlightenment" event at Ring Con. That adventure will be for only those folks who have created a "Mark of Enlightenment" token earlier in the year. Thus, you must have collected all four years of the PoE tokens and transmuted them to play in the PoE adventure. More details about that process is coming early next year.

Thanks for your support, and we hope to have an update with more details about Ring Con in 2026 next month. Thanks for your patience.

You must have all four Fragments and transmute them to the Mark of Enlightenment prior to Ring Con to participate in the special event

Here's how I understand it, but someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Make Ring of the X Circle Transmute: access to RingCon, can do 1 special Ring run (maybe 2 if you have 2 Rings and there is room, like you could do with 2 Skulls).

Make Path of Enlightment by relevant deadline: access to special Path event at RingCon. (Kind of like the Patron-only run at SkullCon.)

Own a Silver Ship Passage: MIrthwood: access to a special room at RingCon.

Pretty sure this is
Turn in a Silver Ship Passage: Mirthwood: access to a special 12 min event at RingCon

Also, I would assume some limit, much like the rings themselves.

"IMPORTANT: Unlike at Skull Con where you only had to show the current-year's Patron token, just presenting Path to Enlightenment (Fragment 4) will not qualify you for eligibility to participate in the "Path of Enlightenment" special event. You must have all four Fragments to attend the PoE event."
I know what it ststes in the main body.

If you reads the important part it directly contradicts the other part. Need to make sure it's clear. If some shows uo with all four PoE, based on the important the would be okay.

Read the important part, where it states you must have all four fragments, It does not state a completes PoE.

It contradicts the text in the body. If it's important that you most have all four Fragments. It needs clarification.

You know how gamers are rule lawyers. I get that the intent is to have a completed PoE. Need to fix the important section.

I think what it is saying is that; not only do you need the completed PoE, you ALSO have to be the person who transmuted the 4 fragments into the PoE.

So, a person can't transmute a full set of 10 and sell the other 9 slots.

I don't see where it says that the person who has the completed PoE also has to be the person that transmuted it. Am I missing something?

Maybe that needs to be clarified. I read that as a generic "you", not saying that the person that transmuted it has to be the same person using it. It isn't soul-bound, so I don't know why it would have that restriction.

Definitely looking forward to a general update on Ring Con. I’m also very curious what the silver ship tokens do. We know the Mirthwood is for a special event, but we have no official announcement on the other two tokens. Plus I think it would be good to have an update for all the newer players who have joined after this year‘s Gen Con.
