TOPIC: Transmuting 10x Tokens from C/UC/R

Transmuting 10x Tokens from C/UC/R 2 years 3 months ago #1

Can you transmute directly to a 10x token? Ex, lets say I'm sending in 30 plank worth of rares. 21 plank worth of uncommons, and 9 plank worth of commons. Can I request 6x 10 tokens? How do I package? Still in baggies of 25 Plank tokens by rarity, or do I need to package directly for 10x tokens?

The form has options for the 10x so you order it how you want. Bagged normally separately, they've updated the labels to accommodate for this.

Situation I ran into: Want 10x tokens, doing groups of 25x rares to get 6xTG. How to organize?

I don't think you can quite fit that in a small flat rate box, or that might be a fantastic solution :D

Why not? As long as the bag is tagged appropriately it seems like it would be much easier for both the sender and transmuter, vs. packing and opening up multiple individual bags.

Probably because it is really easy to lose track of the count/miscount when you've got 250 tokens involved.

My original suggestion was just a joke, that's why it had a ;) at the end (that for some reason Druegar left off when he quoted)

I would have thought “you won’t get a sucker if you do this” would be enough to dissuade though I am clearly overly protective of the potential as I have never actually gotten one in my shipments. I must be doing something wrong, and yet I always * get everything back also?

* I made a mistake once, tried to combine orders the wrong way. That was my bad, gallon plastic bags and separate shipping notices next time. TPTB still helped me get it fixed!

One of the reasons why we want individual, smaller bags is because large bags full of tokens have a habit of bursting. I can't tell you how many times I've opened a MFRB and found a box full of loose tokens and ripped bags. Having to sort through that mess SUCKS!

I realize that when a person "nicely" packs their big bag of tokens in a box that it might look neat and tidy. But after that box has spent a few days being thrown across the room, sat on, jumped on, drug through puddles of gawd-only-knows-what liquids, tumble-dried, and whatever else the post office seems to do with parcels, the box we receive is anything but neat and tidy. So if our packing suggestions --the ones too many folks ignore--seem overly OCD, please consider that you may not understand the full process. There are reasons why we ask folks to pack tokens that way--it's not arbitrarily AR.
