TOPIC: TD Not Coming to Gen Con 2021 ?

The Gen Con 2021 event list dropped today, and first thing I looked for was the True Dungeon events. They didn't have any listed, so I went looking and found the above. Was this a big announcement I missed? Last I had heard from TD they had announced they were coming on the forums sometime early Spring. It seems like something they should have sent an email out about.

TD Announced this to their mailing list on May 21st:

Subject: True Dungeon Will NOT Attend Gen Con

No Events for True Dungeon at Gen Con
There will be no True Dungeon events at Gen Con 2021.

We apologize for our earlier erroneous announcement that we would be attending the show, and we ask for your forgiveness that we were not able to work out the details with Gen Con by today. We felt we owed it to our fans to make this no-go decision now -- before Gen Con badges go on sale this Sunday (5/23). We will return to Gen Con in 2022 with a full slate of events. We wish Gen Con all the best this year. The good news is that you can still play live-action True Dungeon at Gamehole Con.

They were pretty vocal about it, and in also highlighting that Game Hole Con is on.

TD had announced at one point that they would be at GC, and I believe even announced a location, but then pretty much the next day announced that TD would not be attending. The reasoning was not explained, but it certainly wasn't an easy or light decision.
