TOPIC: Gamehole Con Event Registration Time And Beer Keg Reception!

Hello fellow True Dungeon fans!

Did you know it's almost time to register for events at Gamehole Con?


If you've never been to Gamehole Con, it's awesome! It's a really great convention, not too big, and not too small. There's TONS of tabletop gaming happening, and of course True Dungeon too! The convention is October 19th - 22nd at the Alliant Energy Center Exhibition Hall in Madison, WI. Buy your badge here, and then on July 15th at 12:00pm CST you can register for events, which you can see here. You can start building your wishlist now, and of course the Patron and VIG members know that event registration starts today for them, July 1st at 12:00pm CST.

Speaking of events and wishlists, besides being a proud sponsor of Gamehole Con, I also sponsor an event on Friday night called the "Beer Keg Reception at the Clarion brought to you by Trent Tokens!" You can add this event to your wishlist here.

The reception is Friday at 7:00pm in the lobby of the Clarion, and in addition to the free keg of Spotted Cow beer, there will be lots of free pizza! Attendees will also receive a free coupon for a free drink from Critical Hit Soda, who will be located in front of the Clarion. There will also be multiple raffles and free drawings for lots of True Dungeon tokens and other fun True Dungeon items. More info will be revealed about the raffles and free drawings later this year.

Hey Trent. Thanks for hosting the reception. Very cool.

This is only my second time attending GHC and I had a ticket question and I am hoping a frequent attendee may know the answer. I know that the system won't assign tickets to overlapping events when the wishlist is processed. However, after the system opens for direct ticket purchases, can you buy a ticket that overlaps with an existing ticket? I am hoping to get into an event that overlaps with the reception, and was hoping to be able to get tickets to both.

Heya! It's my pleasure and I'm glad you'll be able to make it!

If I understand your question correctly, it actually doesn't matter if something overlaps with my event. There are no "tickets" to the event. That's just in the calendar to help you plan and it gives me an idea of roughly how many people are planning to show up, which helps with how many pizzas to order, etc.

So I'd say get the tickets to the other event and fret not about tickets to my event, just show up when you can!

I guess I picked the wrong convention to attend, GHC pizza party bumps it up a bit from GENCON.

I've been doing it every year for quite a while!

As far as TD goes, GHC is the best convention imho. The extra stuff like Trent's amazing reception and the laid back atmosphere just make it preferable to Gencon for me at least.

Also free parking and hotels across the street for regular prices!!
