TOPIC: Hypothetical situation

Hypothetical situation 18 years 9 months ago #13

ehehehehe, try working at a theme park.
Amazing guest questions.

What time is the 3 o'clock parade?
How long is 50 minutes?
Where are the fireworks?
*standing in fantasy land surrounded by flying elephants, spinning tea cups and saucers, a whale swallowing canal boats* Where's Fantasyland?
Is there fastpass for the bathroom?
Oh, and if a person ever starts their question with, 'Now, I'm not a freak or anything but I was wondering . . . ' You know you are in trouble. And if you have to preface that, you probably are in fact a freak.
'Whenever I feel blue, I remind myself to breathe again.'

Zaknafein,

Hopefully you have had better experience with Aerospace Engineers. ;)

Not that we have any more common sense but hopefully flying a spaceships to other planets isn't quite as dry. 8)

Hopefully, Biomedical Engineers are not on the list either....

My own theory is that common sense points are traded in proportional to the degree.
I can not count how many people with advance degrees (no personal offense meant) I have encountered who can’t screw in a light bulb, but they are out there designing stuff.

Present company excluded, of course (maybe ;) )…

My current theory is... the more schooling you've had to get those degrees, the more brain cells you've burned/killed off. So there's no more room for the simple/common stuff, just all the technical jargin.

*grin*

Back at Alfred, a CE was for Ceramic Engineer, of which I am one.
