I really shouldn't be spending as much time as I have on the forum recently. It's just silliness is my coping mechanism so I need a little outlet for that lest I go crazy.  So thanks for putting up with my silliness, and for all the hugs. And for those of you that wanted me to do stuff for you after the con, I'm sorry I don't have time to work on that stuff right now. :\<br /><br /><br />

<br /><br /><br />Hon, everyone needs an escape from things.  If you don't take a little bit of time every day for yourself, even if it is only 5 minutes (and taking a shower does not count!), your mind doesnt clear, and the effectiveness of what you do for your family and others goes down.  So do not feel bad or think you are taking time from others who need the time, when you take a few minutes for yourself.  It makes your time that more effective, and it keeps you from going crazy.  Sometimes, you need a bit of a breather, and that little time every day you take, can make a huge difference.  A wonderful lady with Hospice told me this years ago, and she was right.<br /><br />/hugs and love and more /hugs

I'm trying, usually lunch is my little break to check mail and take it easy for a few minutes.<br />That didn't happen today, but I did take a little while early this morning to sit outside and read whilst the family slept.

I'd have to say showers count.  My showers are way too long for an avowed environmentalist (my secret shame).<br />

lol, as long as the bubble bath or shower gives you enough time to clear your mind a bit, and relax, then they count.
