Yep, it is the end of day two, and I was lucky, the headaches were mostly overnight...<br /><br />And I have done this before where I go weeks without C...just have to make it stick this time.<br /><br />But the big surprise to me was Alcohol jacks up blood pressure...here I thought it would have tamed it...but no!<br /><br />So it is going on over two months since I have had a beer or glass of wine...much easier to give that up!<br /><br />But thanks - I'm sure once I get my BP meds in order I will have a Diet Dr Pepper once in a while!

i have this talent for finding 8lb (sometimes even more) bags of candy and stuffing them in boxes for christmas presents.  people wonder where i get such things...<br /><br />you just hope they didnt enlist me to goto the store to buy a "large" bag of skittles, unless you really love skittles.

<br />Since alcohol thins the blood, it can cause higher blood pressure in some people.<br /><br />I am actually hoping my blood thinners make my blood pressure go up a little. Mine is sometimes so low I have trouble with dizziness and everything going black. I am actually under doctor's orders to make sure I always drink plenty of fluids, and to eat lots of salt.

My wife used to be under the same rules - doc told her to always have a bag of potato chips available!<br />
