We have some plain rice crackers. But they aren't very munchable by themselves usually. You at least have to have something to wash them down with. And I have yet to try them with hummus. Fritos corn chips are quite tasty with hummus.
*tummy growls*
Um, yeah all this talk is definitely making me hungry. hehehehe
dont get me started on the completly ridiculious rating system the mpaa has though. god its so completly unamerican and ridiculious. and has nothing to do with what thier standards really are. its such a crappy system

While there are are abuses and inconsistencies in ratings on the part of the MPAA, for the most part, I think it is a valuable tool for consumers. Its also voluntary on the part of the studios and as a parent, I appreciate it actually. :|

i had to do this drawn out paper on it for film apreciation there is a really good documentary called this film is not yet rated and while doing all the research on the mpaa i found more abuse to the system than anything else. i mean me personally as an adult i seen the last mimsy good movie though there was a scene where the 8 year old boy lipped the words oh $h1t along with 2 people that said "hey its the weekend lets start it off with a bang" or something along the lines kissing and falling onto the bed then the scene cut then at the end of the movie there was a boy and a girl who stripped out of a costume butt naked and walked through a door with blinding light so you couldnt see thier bodies but it was implied nudity and this film is targeted towards younger children. while sitting in the theatre my gf and i were the only ones without children all the children that were there were between 4-9

now i mean i might come off as alittle too conservative but to say that its only a pg rating and that its ok for kids to see that is a bit outlandish. and as voluntary as it is to the studios if a studio does not have a rating on a film most cinemas WILL NOT show a film in thier theatres. nor will films use nc-17 movies in thier theatres as well. which typically get a nc-17 rating for really nothing at all. now yes it helps parents out a bit. but it still falls down to parental morals to actually take part in the viewing.

this film , Memoirs of a Gesha, only recieved a pg-13 rating when personally i dont think that would be apropriate for a 13-16 year old to go ahead and view. its an inappropriate rating. the mpaa abuses its power. and because it has so much power the poduction studios bend to the mpaa based around a SELECT group of peoples opinions which are still only giving opinions based upon those higher ups in the mpaa if a rater did not agree with what the higher ups thought it should get they would get canned.
Speaking of movies, I got to see Meet the Robinsons yesterday.
I hadn't seen any commercials for it, only posters so I didn't know quite what to expect. I found it to be enjoyable and quite amusing. My 6 year old nephew though thought the movie was too sweet. hehehehe
Kathy and I saw "Meet the Robinsons" yesterday as well. It was really cute. :) I loved the quote from Walt Disney at the end.

SULLEY! *swoons*

Glad you all had a good time at the show bro. And thanks bro. I wouldn't want my boyfriend to forget me. Besides I think Roz has been making eyes at my monster. And have you seen that little knit sweater she wears to show off her curves. She's totally trying to steal my monster. But then again, I can't blame her, he is soo dreamy. :P
