The non-Boba Fett parts of the episode seemed much better than the Boba Fett parts. It's a bit disappointing that the show doesn't revolve more around Boba, he doesn't seem to be living up to his legend.

Sorry I only have watched the Movies and series. I assume Luke's students suffer the same fate as the Jedi students did 28 years earlier?

Yeah, this episode of Grogu Fett seemed like 2 completely separate stories written and directed by different people and yes, the non-Boba parts were better. It almost feels like they said everyone wants to see a series about Boba Fett, but the writers couldn't come-up with enough good ideas to fill 6 episodes?

The Last Jedi movie (which in my opinion completely ruined the Luke Skywalker character) showed what happened to his students. Kylo Ren and his followers killed them all, after he woke up to Luke nearly killing him because he felt his dark side (again, something Luke would never have done, in my opinion). So - if Grogu does decide to be Luke's first student, hopefully he leaves before the massacre.

Man, Luke is such a jerk.

Maybe Grogu will choose the shirt, and then snag the lightsaber on his way out.

I'm a lot more interested in what happens with Grogu than I am with what happens with the Pike Syndicate.

I'm wondering if the showing of Grogu's memory of the events of Order 66 will turn him away from the Jedi order.

I think Leia is Luke's first student.

As much as I love the last two episodes, I have to also say that I don't really feel too emotionally attached to Boba Fett's story. I'm much more looking forward to Grogu's decision and Mando's efforts to get his Mandalorian status back.

I know Jango was his mentor but I don't know much about it because I think it is only mentioned, if someone knows more they can add. He does have a history with Boba, being his mentor, though Boba had lots of Bounty Hunting mentors. That is seen in various episodes of The Clone Wars.
