Yes it is....from the trash compactor.

She does say she hogged it out, and admittedly I don't know what she means either. I figured loaded it up.

That use of slang in the show seemed quite strange to me.

A ship is hogging when its hull makes a convex shape, analogous to the curve of the top of a pigs back when viewed in profile, as the bottom of the hull is in diagram #2:

The term "hogging out" seems to be used within the telescope mirror making community to refer to the process of grinding down a cylinder of quartz into the shape of a mirror or lens (probably also a convex shape).

In context of the show I took it to mean something more like to bore out the cylinder to enlarge it.

Normally, that spot is open because droids don't need to breathe. Maybe the hogging refers to the convex dome put on it for a living person to sit there instead of a droid.
this is not a signature.

I am going to lean towards making room in the space, most likely for a passenger. I figure we see someone riding back there either before the end of the season or if we get another season of The Mandalorian. The phrase hog out apparently has several meanings, from eat like a hog to the one I linked below. Don't look up the Urban Dictionary version, lol.

My biggest fear is that we will have to watch an episode of Boba Fett in the next season of The Mandalorian...

The "how many character cameos can we throw into one episode?" episode.

Great episode! It seemed a bit cruel to make Grogu choose between the shirt and lightsaber (and Mandalorian & Jedi), as a Beskar shirt would seem to work pretty well for a Jedi. But I know it's because Grogu's heart isn't in the training. It seems kind of obvious that Grogu will choose the Mandalorian, because otherwise (per Luke) he might never see Din again and therefore wouldn't be in Season 3. And the ship has a Grogu sized space already! It would be sad though to see Grogu not get a lightsaber and not get Jedi training.

Although, maybe it's for the best for Grogu to not go to the school given what happens to all the students. It would be nice though to see Luke graduate a few students before the tragedy, so his entire post RotJ life isn't useless. My guess is we won't see much of Luke and R2D2 again for awhile (which I've enjoyed greatly), once Grogu goes back to the Mandalorian.

I hope that the Sherriff isn't dead, I suspect he's just injured. I really enjoy the character and actor. Clearly his townfolk will now fight against the Pike. I wonder if the Tuskans will or not. There haven't been any interactions in present time between Boba and them, it would seem out of left field for them to show up in the final episode, but I won't be surprised if they do.

The non-Boba Fett parts of the episode seemed much better than the Boba Fett parts. It's a bit disappointing that the show doesn't revolve more around Boba, he doesn't seem to be living up to his legend.

I think if Grogu chooses the lightsaber, Luke will let him have the shirt.
Tenth level achieved! Now for the long journey to 11th level!

I was actually expecting Din to go talk to the Tuskens rather than the townsfolk. Especially when he flew over the Jawas with the dragon on their sandcrawler.

I think it is a very interesting choice Luke has presented Grogu. The mail is for defense but the Mandalorians are warriors. The lightsaber is definitely more offensive (though it can be used for defense), but Jedi are supposed to be the protectors, "guardians of peach and justice."

I don't know which he will choose. Storywise for the final trilogy it makes sense for him to choose the mail, are return to Mando. However I think it also makes sense for The Mandolorian to be about Mando and not Mando and Grogu. Grogu is great but I think The Mandolarian as a show has more potential without him...eventually. The needed Grogu....I don't know if it still does.

I actually expected to see a youngling Ben on the planet. He would be about 4 at this time. I know that he doesn't start his training till he is 10, but I still expected to see him there.

I also was expecting Mando to contact the Tuskens after seeing the Jawas.
