This week's episode was awful, I really wanted to like it but I have to be honest, it was jarringly bad. With 4 episodes left they really need to bring the A game for the rest, Boba looks like a buffoon. Episodes 1 & 2 were solid, nothing mind blowing but I liked where it was headed especially at the end of 2. Episode 3 is/was a mess.

Worst parts:
The clean looking, well dressed, millennial street gang riding on colorful SW Vespa's with Spy Kids powers....just laughably bad like the chase.

-The Black Croissant Wookie fight was something out of a 90's TV show, the choreography, he shopuld have ripped off a Gammoreon arm. He hit Boba with electric brass knuckles...with spikes...his face would have been shaved off. Plus where was his gun? Boba did not turn on the alarm or take precautions after he was threatened? He could have killed Boba easily. Why did he move so slow? He lost to the Spy Kids too.

They pretty much undid everything in the second episode. This was sequel trilogy level bad with plot. The Hutt tension and building up this really badass looking Wookie was thrown out so quickly. The only redeeming aspect was the Rancor and Danny T as it's Keeper. At least we will get Boba Riding a Rancor in a Fight at some point.

I do agree about seeing Danny T. I don't like the whole, "I want to ride a Rancor" bit. He is freaking Boba Fett not some little kid. Really if anything I think these series is tarnishing my perception of Boba.

Agreed. I's like the first fight in EP1, he could have flown over the laser shield guys. He must hate his jetpack after the Sarlacc incident lol.

Felt like the scene with the breakdown of the territories and gangs should have been in the last episode.

Riding a rancor is a reference to The Force Unleashed video games, if memory serves.

The chase felt very old school. The gang didn’t feel Tatooine to me, but would have fit some other planet better.

Didn’t like the episode as much as the others, but didn’t hate it either. It kept my attention and then I was like “oh wow, it’s been 37 minutes already?”

The Courtship of Princess Leia predates The Force Unleash by more than a decade. As I recall that is the first mention of the sisters or witches (I forget) of Dathomir riding Rancor.

I liked the episode overall, but I did have some issues with it.

I'd have liked for at least some of the Tusken tribe to have survived (maybe they did - that seemed like a small pile of bodies).

The group of bikers seemed very out of place. How could a group of kids that could afford expensive speeders and bionic enhancements not be able to afford water? And wouldn't they have at least moved out of sight of the water store to sell their stolen merchandise? And they got awfully loyal to Boba awfully quickly.

My biggest problem is with the wookie fight. BK is a trained assassin, he would have killed Boba the second he opened the Bantha tank (or even before). Any of the times he was slowly choking Boba, he should have just killed him instantly instead. And how did Boba not have a guard set up given that he was already warned of an attack by the Hutts? Boba is supposed to be the ultimate bad-ass, but for the second episode in a row he had to have his "troops" save him.

I am pretty sure if you go back and look at ep1 and 3, the two weakest in my opinion, they are both directed by Robert Rodriguez. Each episode had what appeared to be some bad action sequences in the ambush in Mos Espa, the attack on Boba Fett in the palace, and that hilariously bad speeder chase. I do not believe he is directing all of the episodes, so I am curious to see if that trend continues in the eps he does direct.

Though I think you can blame a director for bad action sequels and the speeder chase was again the worst I have ever seen. However I think storywise the series is lacking. I have enjoyed the tusken flashbacks mostly, but really don't care about what he is currently doing in Mos Espa. I fault the writing for that.

Well, right now it seems like the tusken flashbacks are over (Note: I correctly called the demise of the tuskens in an earlier post). At this point I haven't been surprised or thrilled by anything. I'm not saying the series is bad. I am enjoying it. It just doesn't have me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next. But yeah, the action sequences in ep 3 were lacking. The whole biker gang seems out of place. Boba should not have lived through the wookie's attack or at the very least should have suffered much more damage.

My guess is we get to see Boba wiping out the biker gangs, which allows the Pike Syndicate to move in.

Yeah, the writing is certainly weaker as well. I am assuming we get some type of conclusion to the flashbacks with Boba wiping out the biker gang?

I think you are wrong about the Tusken Flashbacks being done. This tribe is done, but there are many tribes in the Dune Sea. So I don't think we are done with the Tuskens yet, but time will tell.
