I’m fine with opening up the league 2 spots. I can lose just as easily against 11 opponents as 9 - lol.

Aye RL before league, also I still have some openings in the new league I am creating so if anyone wants in that one I am open to that as well.

I want to expand the league because I am in favor of growth and how do we get to 3 leagues unless we get our 2 fully populated.

I am offline for a week starting on Saturday so I want to send invites out Thursday night.

I've been thinking on how to structure it so I am proposing this.

12 team league with 3 divisions.

Each team plays every team once, and plays the teams in their division twice. That takes us to 14 weeks. 3 division winners and 3 wildcards get in based on record and then points. 2 division winners have a bye on week 15, 4 teams on week 16, superbowl on week 17. Toilet bowl will be based on total points scored during those 3 weeks.

I'll put in the extra 50 bucks to make the entire pool 1250. That guarantees us another purple. I'll take the modules since I've never actually read them before and find them interesting and the 30 tokens with the extra buy to make it even.

I want to make sure everyone is kosher with this before Thursday but if I don't hear a massive uproar, we are doing this.

Also, when I send the yahoo links, please confirm how I have the scoring setup since I pretty much went with the defaults.

I wouldn't have the games continue into week 17 - with an expanded season, players are likely to be sat down when nothing is at stake for a team. Week 16 would be as late as I'd recommend we venture.

Although I benefitted from the division structure before getting into the playoffs with a worse record than half of the teams on the other division that didn't make the playoffs, I vote we kill the divisions. Just have 12 teams in a single division. We all play each other once, then have 6 teams go to the playoffs. Week 12 Quarter finals (top 2 teams get byes), Week 13 semi-finals, then superbowl week 14.

If we did divisions, I would say 2 divisions of 6 with everyone playing each other twice and 2 weeks of randomized inter-division matchups. That would take 12 weeks for the regular season then Week 13 quarter finals, 14 semis, and week 15 for the superbowl.

Doesn't the NFL season now go 18 weeks (17 live games and a bye)? If so, shouldn't be a problem to use the penultimate week.
