A topsy-turvy day...

This afternoon I got a call from the patient care facilitator at the hospital, regarding my wife going to a short term care facility for therapy. I felt that was a good idea.

Tonight, I get there to see her, and she has been moved to a different room. Her body temp dropped to 92 (I think) and she needed warming up. They moved her to an intermediate care room to better monitor her. She was also a little confused when I got to her. She was taking to people that weren’t there. I told the nurse so she noted it in her chart. Hopefully she is better tomorrow.

I suspect she was just hungry. Dinner was brought in and she started chowing’ down on it pretty quickly.

So now I don’t know if the care facility thing will happen early next week.

That sounds rough, take care of yourself while you’re taking care of others too.

She has improved today, but is very sleepy. They did move her out of intermediate care so that’s a blessing!

I forgot to post last night. I had a bad day and night but my wife is doing very good now. She might be released to a short term care facility for therapy in the next couple of days.
