Submit them directly to me. I'm the only one who can make changes to the sheet since there's prizes involved. I realize this is a bit silly since all numbers are self reported and it's on the honor system anyway, but I figure it's best to keep it secure where I can. There will sometimes be a day or so delay in updating the sheet depending on when I get your message and what I have going on that day.

Ok, so I reached the precious yesterday and Josh reached out to me regarding prizes. I had no idea what to expect from this fine group of adventurers, but was pleasantly surprised there were other fleet folk who helped motivate me to do more. I already felt like a winner. Not that I mean to slight the Hobbits, as everyone's situation is different.

Anyway, I've asked Josh to take the cash I would have won and handle it as follows. Give it away randomly with every participant who can reach Bree by May 31 having an equal chance. To the Fleet Folk, you still have a chance and probably don't need to do more than you've already done. You've already built activity into your life. Congrats! To the Hobbits, some of you are close, but I hope this motivates others to develop a regular routine that includes activity. All it would take between now and May 31 is 30 minutes of activity per day, even if you've barely started. Do that for four weeks and I think it will improve your life.

I hope no one is upset over my decision, and also hope this keeps more people actively involved beyond this competition.

Congrats to Dave on being the first to reach the Precious, and thanks to him for donating the prize money right back into the competition. Current prize state is as follows:

1. Golden Fleece to the next person who reaches the Precious.
2. Shield of the Scholar, donated by an anonymous awesome person, to whichever hobbit has improved the most since week 1 in the competition (IE ramped up their activity the most.
3. $120 awarded randomly on June 1st to someone that reached Bree.
4. Better health and well being to everyone who's participated.

I hear The Prancing Pony has a variety of accommodations.

This has been fun so far, it has forced me to get better with more runs and bike trips over just going for an short walk.
