Anyone else want to punch John Walker when he calls James “Bucky?” He hasn’t earned that right!

One thing that bothered me was the idea that Dr. Erskine would have tested the super soldier serum on African Americans, since he was such a good guy. With Isaiah Bradley active in the Korean War, it’s much more likely that those experiments were carried out by Dr. Zola, who infiltrated SHIELD after WWII.

They also have Ms. Marvel and Ironheart series in production. Almost certain to be Young Avengers in some capacity.

It seems likely that Young Avengers might be Disney+ since all the characters except for Cassie are being introduced on Disney+ series.

Yup, but that's the start of a good villain, which is already a huge step up from Wanda Vision. I never wanted to see Agatha get her just deserts as much as John Walker.

I think it will depend on how well received their series are. The All new all different thing didn't go well for comic sales, they probably want to test the water on D+ before they try to centre these characters in the movies. If they do will on low risk tv shows, they will probably be the new avengers. If not we will probably see more of the "classic" avengers.

Since they were in Madripoor I was hoping to see a short, gruff guy wearing an eye patch, but no such luck.

Just watched tonight's episode. Interesting how they are taking a darker, more mature tone - terrorism, the heroes killing people, swearing, etc.

I like that they are bringing in a Wakanda connection - I didn't know who that person was, but an article said it was Ayo, second in command of the Dora Milaje.

Yeah, she was the one that showed up in CA: TWS when T'Challa was arrested. Kinda disappointed that it wasn't Okoye (Danai Gurira).

The podcast I listen to had a theory that Sharon is the Power Broker. I don't think that makes much sense.

Has it been confirmed that Sharon was blipped? I think she appeared on a list of the missing, but she could have been on the run. Strange that Bucky could get a pardon for a century of assassinations, but she can't for stealing a shield and flying pack.

Supposedly episode 5 is supposed to have a big emotional cry-worthy moment. Could it be

- appearance of Old Steve?
- Isaiah Bradley flashback?
- Isaiah is attacked by the Flag Smashers or Zemo. Grandson Eli defends him but is mortally wounded. Isaiah gives him blood transfusion to save him. Blood has super soldier serum in it - welcome, Patriot!
- Bucky makes amends with Mr. Nakajima.

I have a hard time believing Sharon went from a highly respected agent to dealing in superpowers. I can buy the black market art, but the equivalent of arms dealing seems a bit far. I'm wondering if maybe it's a deep cover.

Young Avenger spoilers

Another possibility for the big emotional cry-inducing moment in episode 5 - a cameo by T'Chaka, since we are bringing in Bucky's Wakanda connection. However, I think it would be hard to keep something like this secret.
