A podcast host said she thought that this showed that Sam really was the true heir for Cap, since Cap fought Batroc at the start of Winter Soldier. I didn't realize it until I was reading a review. I guess he needed to do a bit more leaping.

The person who sent the "You stole from me....I am going to kill you" message was the new Captain America. You will find out at the end that he is actually a super-soldier, too (big fight reveal). I hope this does not come true. It is pretty lame.
