I think you are right, but just because she said it, doesn't make it true. I do trust her, but that doesn't mean that we cannot be wrong to place that trust.

it really does feel like there's someone else who started all of this and is helping direct things. Agnes (Agatha Harkness?) is another possible suspect.

I agree it definitely seems like someone else is pulling the strings, but it would be a super surprise if there wasn't someone.
If Agnes is helping direct things I definitely don't think she is doing it for herself, imo.

I found it most interesting that when Wanda step out to confront SWORD her accent returned. I think that is nice touch.

I also was surprised how much Elizabeth looked like her sisters in this episode. I never really saw it before this one.

My other thought. Why does Wanda not have an accent in “the show” but does when not.

Side question, who is the better QS,
Aaron Taylor-Johnson or Evan Peters?

I see where they could potentially go with the multiverse angle but is disappointing to not see ATJ

Loved Darcy's reaction - "She recast Pietro?" This could be a way to connect the MCU and the X-movies.

I was disappointed but not surprised that Director Hayward turned out to be a bad guy.

I liked the return of Wanda's accent outside the hex ("Ha - you called it the hex!").

With the footage of Wanda taking Vision's corpse in the secret footage, it does seem that she is animating or controlling him, but he seems to have independence from her - the scenes set at work, his questioning her control of Westview, his interaction with Norm.

Did anyone notice that when Agnes asked Wanda if she wanted to start the scene over, the twins stopped crying? Or we at least stopped hearing them?

Looking forward o learning more about Agnes. This scene shows that she seems to have some autonomy. I think she is indeed Agatha Harkness, but how did she come to be in Westview? What is she doing?

I had to remind my wife who Evan Peters was - she said, "Oh yeah, that awesome kitchen scene!"

I feel like Wanda's acting changes in each "episode" based on the era it represents. Especially with super cheese '80s setting.

I'm not entirely convinced Agnes is Harkness, but she seems to have an interest in keeping Wanda's fantasy going. I do feel like Agnes and Dottie are playing against each other in some way.

Is he? From where he stands Wanda is a terrorist who has taken over a small city and enslaved all its people. Now we know this is likely not to be true, but I don't know that I would label him a bad guy. Short sighted, sure. Quick to choose to act before understanding the full picture, okay. Getting in the way of our heroes JMonica, Jimmy and Darcy, ohhh you bet. Bad guy? Hmmm I am not convinced.

I agree, it seems like he could go either way. He seems to be painting things in the worst light to justify his actions, but there is some justification for his actions so far. I suspect he'll turn out to be a bad guy, but I'm not sure yet.
