Not necessarily. She could be kidnapped as well and someone else is using her powers. We really don't know yet. I just don't see how Dr. S 2 (which is supposed to move towards horror) as her twins involved. Sure they could be kidnapped or something, but I doubt it. I think they are gone by then. That for me means Wanda is going to grieve even harder than she is grieving for Vision (and maybe Pietro). Even if they aren't/weren't ever real. They are going to be something she will have wanted to hold onto more than Vision and her brother, imo.

Wanda's evolution in the comics from villain to hero to villain in waiting again, via mental health breakdown is well documented over 30-40 years. Even her power/ability changes over time as new writers worked to evolve the character. Starting out with her "hexes" that altered probabilities, progressed and grew, culminating with the alteration of reality itself. Factor in that she has had training in actual magic in the comics, it's not hard to see her following this path of despair. Loss of her brother, her causing the death of the innocents in opening of Civil War (Captain America 3 movie), Visions death, she probably lost it all shortly after Endgame. All though she is most probably the one powering the reality veil around Westview, she is not the one calling the shots overall. In the comics one of the things that propels her well over the ledge of sanity is the loss of her children. And they are not real children in the comics (until later under another writer), but products of magic. Once all hell literally breaks lose, she will shatter the barriers of reality which will then gather the attention of Dr. Strange and lead into that movie. Easy to be the misunderstood villain needing to be redeemed at that point. It's tuff to wait a damn week just to see what will happen next. As for other characters like Monica. Odds are she, like a lot of others world wide have been altered upon their return from the Blip. This is a working fan-theory that would explain the sudden world wide introduction of mutants to the MCU. And in the comics she is a hero now called Photon with light based powers (She was Captain Marvel for awhile, then a name change). Basically this show will be the vehicle for them to adjust the Phase 4 platform to included the 20th Century Fox reacquired properties. It's a fanboys dream but it's tuff for me to pull from 45+ years of comic collecting what variation of a story line is the MCU running. Is it a variation of House of M, Avengers Disassembled or 1 of 15 other story lines.

I think she's probably being manipulated, but the show seems to be indicating that she is an active participant in it and has agency. She rewound when Vision started to question the reality. She seemed aware of the fact that he's only alive within the sitcom. And when she ejected Monica through the barrier she seemed completely in control of what she was doing.

I don't think she'll stay a villain, but I could definitely see her shattering reality at the end of this series, and becoming a villain for a few movies.

I don't know that she is in control when she ejected Monica. She seems very confused after the fact. Her being in control of Vision though is not the same as controlling an entire town.

It looked like Monica had a negative reaction when Captain Marvel was brought up, I wonder what caused a rift there.

Dunno on the first one.

The second one I am guessing, just guessing is that Danvers wasn't around much as Monica grew up after first being there, and she kind of resents her for that....again just a random guess.

That could be it. She could also be upset that Carol wasn't around to try to stop Thanos from doing the snap in the first place.

I did notice that Wanda said that she didn't know how the whole town thing started, and denied being able to direct all the details of everyone's lives. That does sound like there is someone else behind it all. Hydra, AIM, Mephisto, or someone else.

It does look like Monica has energy powers now, since that scan of her didn't work.

I think you are right, but just because she said it, doesn't make it true. I do trust her, but that doesn't mean that we cannot be wrong to place that trust.
