TOPIC: Let's talk WandaVision - SPOILERS!

I kind of thought Wanda was dressed like Pippi Longstocking so maybe they were both pirates. I like how we can't turn off "Everything is a clue" mode.

I don't think they would introduce a new character that way. My guess is it's either Nick Fury back from his space vacation or Marvel, someone we've seen her have interactions with.

Were young Wanda and Pietro dressed as anyone in particular?
I wonder how long that tattoo took in Pietro time.

Side note: the regular Marvel comics universe is Earth-616, MCU is 199999, the Fox X-Men is 10005, the first two Fantastic Four are set in 121698.

I think the limit control over people further away is about what she said last episode. She is not sending everyone to their dentist appointments as she said. She doesn't or cannot control everyone to that degree. They are background and it doesn't matter as much.

My prime suspect is still Dottie. I think Hayward's secret file is to throw suspicions his way. Granted he is a dick, and a nefarious government agent, but I don't think he is our baddie.

I'm pretty sure Hayward isn't behind it. He's not trying to save the townsfolk though, he's just trying to recover vision because they're using his body to make combat drones/robots/sentinels.

I somehow missed young Wanda and Pietro, I'll have to watch again.

I thought Wanda looked great in the classic outfit. Vision and Quicksilver had purposely cheesy outfits, but I thought they really did Wanda's justice.

Hayward's secret project was called "Cataract," which makes me think that it had something to do with influencing Vision." I think Vision is his target, not Wanda--wondering if they were weaponizing him, Wanda came in to stop it, and it set off this chain of events.

I've read too that the fake commercial is giving us a clue. The kid on the island starving is a metaphor for Wanda, who is starving emotionally. The shark comes up out of the water to offer the kid a carton of Yo-Magic as his salvation. Again, Yo-Magic is an obvious substitute for someone (still TBD) offering her a way of using your magic (Wanda's magic) to solve her problems. But in the end, it doesn't work out for the kid, just like this won't work out for Wanda. It's just one theory out there, but sort of fits with what we've seen so far.

The take I like on the commercials may relate to the infinity stones.

Ep 1: Stark Industries Toaster commercial - only thing in color is the toaster light which is flashing red, and Wanda calls Vision a toaster in this episode. Mind stone?

Ep 2: Strucker watch commercial - Time stone

Ep 3: Hydra Soak bath powder commercial - A cube that is blue - Space stone

Ep 4: Lagos brand paper towel commercial - Red liquid - Reality Stone?

Ep 5: Yo-Magic yogurt commercial - Boy withers away and dies - Soul Stone?

That would leave the Power Stone still to come.

Wasn’t there a comic or cartoon where trim took over heyward...

I like the idea that the commercials reflect Wanda's origins/growth.

Toaster - red light blinking - Wanda and Pietro were trapped with an unexploded Stark bomb with a blonking light.

Strucker Watch - They got their powers from being subjects of experiments by Baron Strucker.

Lagos Paper Towels - When you have to clean up a mess, like Wanda's accidental killing there (my wife haes how everyone mispronounces Lagos on the show)
