Thankfully I had taken SS of its journey to show TDA, or I would have lost it. I was most surprised that they went back and changed it after the fact to make it look as if they delivered it. I was watching all day past midnight checking just to be sure. TDA has always been great about lost packages and I was extremely grateful for there help with mine. What I don’t know is if it got sent back to TDA since it never came here.

My VTD21 package claims to have been delivered but did not show up. I figured i'd give it another business day to see if it makes its way here or not, but I imagine I should fill out some sort of lost package form with the USPS or something.

I’m not sure what you would need to fill out, but if it doesn’t show in a few days I would contact Lori and she should be able to advise you further.

Thankfully, my package showed up today. Dunno if it was an honest mistake or someone claiming to have delivered it on Saturday to make their delivery metrics look better. In any case, I'm happy.

Ugh, here we go, again. My tokens took one-and-a-half days to go from Carbondale to Madison, WI (my central hub), then exactly one day to go to Charleston, SC for some reason. Then four days of "moving through the network." USPS stopped providing updates three days ago...

Good luck!

My fun this time around was watching my package go from StL -> Indy -> Evansville -> Louisville -> Indy

This week in USPS follies. You'd think I get a break since there's no VTD tokens over the summer. But no, we still have the matter of Gen Con badges.

So, USPS tried to deliver the badges on Saturday, but since I wasn't available and it required a signature, they didn't deliver it. That would make sense if I hadn't already applied an electronic signature precluding the need for them to have me sign at the door. Sigh.

Anyway, the undeliverable card said it would be available for pickup on Monday. Thought I was doing myself a favor by going online and rescheduling it for delivery on Monday. I made sure I was here when the postal truck arrived. I met the carrier curbside. No package. I asked about it. I said I scheduled it for redelivery. The carrier said, "I saw that. But I handed the envelope to a clerk and she didn't hand it back to me." Weird and frustrating. I asked if that meant it was still at the post office. She said yes.

So, I went to the post office. Luckily it wasn't too busy, only one person in line in front of me. I handed the clerk my slip and he proceeded to look for the package. Ten minutes later (if not more), he can't find it. I explain the entire story to him. He starts to head back to continue looking, but by then there are 10 people in line behind me. He's the only clerk working the desk (they used have 2, but cut back this year). I tell him I'll come back. He promises to have it tomorrow. I'm not holding my breath.

My badge got sent to a nearby city instead of mine. Of course it got bounced back to St. Louis thanks to USPS inefficiency. I also did the electronic signature.

As I recall, last year the postman left my package in my mailbox. It had been marked as left with a neighbor. When I asked them all, no one had seen it. Then I go to the box and there it was.

The follies continue. After promising me yesterday that they would find and have the package waiting for me today, I arrived at the PO first thing this morning. Another 15 minutes searching their building turned up nothing. They still think they'll find it. The place is not that big. Even though I applied my electronic signature online, they had me sign another form and said they would just deliver the package once found. Still not holding my breath.

At least there is no indication online that the package was delivered. I'm just hoping I don't have to go back to Gen Con claiming a lost shipment. In all likelihood I'll end up having to pick up the badge at Will Call, which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place. Not to mention that I paid for USPS delivery. Still not happy with Gen Con from 2 years ago when I caught Covid and decided I shouldn't attend. I had to eat the cost of that badge. I know this is not Gen Con's fault, but I don't feel like it's mine either. Sigh. Sorry, had to vent somewhere.

Day 9 since my Gen Con badges went missing. Official Missing Mail Search Request submitted last week. You have to wait until a week after its shipped before you can open that. Starting to give up hope. It was in their hands and at my doorstep 9 days ago. Not too many places it could be. Badges won't be replaced until USPS give up search and officially marks the package as Missing. And even then I'll have to pick up at Gen Con Customer Service. Anyone know if that line is faster or slower than Will Call?

USPS failed to deliver my transmutes today to TDHQ. It is back at the Carbondale post office and waiting for pick up. I will try to figure out the redelivery feature over at usps.com.
