USPS finally accepted my package at 11:10am this morning. What happens next will all depend upon the St. Louis vortex. I should know by tomorrow morning if there's any chance of getting it on Saturday, or if I need to wait until next week.

My package appears caught in the vortex. With any good luck, it will escape and get here tomorrow instead of Saturday.
Tenth level achieved! Now for the long journey to 11th level!

That region right now is dealing with ice and snow, I am fully expecting that to delay my package until after the weekend.

Woo Hoo! Congrats!

My treasure made it to St. Louis last night. No scan that it left, so it's either stuck in the vortex or was smuggled out by the tvr (token vortex resistance).

Extra goodies for me; my winnings from lazlo’s recent eBay auction also arrive today!

Two days from Florida to Illinois…the vortex didn’t get hold of it somehow!

In my experience packages from Laz in Florida usually overperform on the stated delivery time, and move much faster from Florida to Ohio, than anything that has to touch the St Louis vortex.

Ugh. Our V8 treasure is still showing as “USPS awaiting item.” I hope it is actually somewhere in the system on its way to Chicago.

Crossing my fingers for you. Very often our packages share a truck that far. Right now mine appears to be stuck in the St. Louis vortex.

Thanks. I know our packages are often travel buddies. Maybe they’re keeping each other company I hope they both get where they are going soon.

Mine is currently due Monday, which is about right for a post-holiday week

If it's any comfort to either of you, my also Chicago-bound box was scanned at the Chicago Logistics Center this afternoon. At least one northbound truck made it out of the vortex today.

On the other hand, my transmute order still hasn't been acknowledged as accepted yet, despite me dropping it at the post office on Wednesday...
