Perhaps the box contained 7 psychic tokens that really wanted to go to Gen Con and convinced various postal workers to make it happen?

I mean I did send a Skull transmute in that box and insured it insanely.

I mailed my transmutes order and a token I sold about 4:00 pm PST on Monday, 4/5. The sold token was delivered today (4/8) in Arizona and the order arrived at TD today as well (both at about the same time!).

I think TD is doing all it can to get orders processed. I have a notice that a shipping label was created, but it hasn’t it the PO yet. If they can mail it tomorrow, I should have a good chance of it getting to LA in time for VTD 4c.

They arrived in St. Louis at 1:38 pm today, 36 hours after leaving Elk Gove Village. They left St Louis at 6:12 pm today, so maybe our boxes are on the same truck, Dave. Expected delivery is on Saturday, but I really hope they make it there tomorrow because TD isn’t always open on Saturdays. Fingers crossed.

ETA: Hah. Spoke too soon. My package departed St. Louis again at 8:34 pm.

Yep, mine just departed St. Louis again at 8:34pm. Of course they keep overlaying the departure times not counting on me watching this every hour or two and noticing the multiple departure scans. I feel like I'm caught in a loop. Is the 3rd time the charm?

Edit: Yeah, Saturday arrival is iffy. I had them attempt a delivery on Saturday once and flag it as undeliverable since TD wasn't working. And then they decided not to reattempt delivery until the following Tuesday. Ugh.

I'm fairly certain the St. Louis facility is actually 3-4 buildings on 2 properties roughly 1/4 mile apart. Some of the multiple departure scans might be explainable as packages going from 1 building to the other? I'm not really sure though, I live nearby and see where the trailers park but don't know anything about how USPS works. For some reason the 2nd building shows up as "American postal worker's union" in google maps, but I can't imagine a union hall needs 20ish docks or an entirely concrete building with no windows.

Appreciate some of the context. Still not happy with this level of service. But...it appears that my transmutes did finally escape St. Louis and have made an appearance in Carbondale at 4:29am this morning. I expect they will be delivered today and finally complete their run. They had a little difficulty along the way, so I'd say they were running hardcore level this time. Based on some of the earlier comments it sounds like some packages might being doing epic weird.

Edit: Just to add a little more detail to my transmute adventure. After leaving St. Louis for the 3rd time at 8:34pm, it arrived back in St. Louis at 9:00pm. It then arrived at the Carbondale USPS facility at 12:38am (without leaving St. Louis a 4th time) and then was checked in for arrival at the Carbondale PO at 4:29am. I wonder if all the multiple arrival and departure scans in St. Louis allow them to inflate productivity numbers? Although, as indicated above it may be a way of tracking things between buildings. But if that were the case, why doesn't every package go through that? Makes it feel like a haphazard or random operation.

I'll join the list of those worried about what the USPS is doing with the tokens.

Mailed Monday and it departed my local post office, no real scans since then only In-Transit Arriving On Time which is supposed to be today...but I highly doubt it at this point.

At the same time I mailed a token trade to IN the same day by first class, it flew over to Indy in no time with many scans along way and was delivered a day early. The person I trade with mailed in a regular stamped envelope with no tracking and it only took a day longer. So it takes 2 or 3 days to go from OH to IN or visa versa with 1st class or stamped mailed. But "Priority" can't go one state further in 5 days....COME ON!

Same situation, shipped Monday, no updates since it left the origin facility Monday night.

Good news: my shipment was allegedly delivered to TD at 10:40 am today. That doesn’t explain why it arrived (for a third time) in St. Louis at 9:00 pm yesterday and then magically showed up in Carbondale at 12:48 am without ever departing St. Louis for the third time, but I’ll take it.

Now I “just” get to worry about the return trip!

ETA: I don’t usually ship so many high value tokens. I vastly prefer to do those transmutes in person. Really looking forward to the day when it is safe to have cons and transmute rooms and I can stop freaking out about USPS losing a Legendary token coming or going.

I feel almost 0 concern about the return trip compared to the trip to TD.

Same here. Says they were left with a person at 10:38am this morning. Based on history, TD has one drop off/pick up per day from USPS. So unless there is some special arrangement for today, I expect to see the shipping label created (possibly today), but then USPS won't get it until Saturday or Monday (if TD isn't working Saturday). While I could get the tokens back as early as Wednesday, Thursday or Friday is probably more likely. Still in time for V4c, but starting to cut it close. All I can say is, I'm really getting tired of this.

I have very high confidence that TD will make it right if a return shipment goes awry. But I am the type of person who is going to worry about it anyway.

Also, I really want to use some of the tokens for V4C!
