As even more anecdata, it shows the package leaving St. Louis today, so I would be surprised if it took until Saturday to actually reach TD.

After 60 hours of being "in transit" from Oak Creek, WI to St. Louis, MO, my package finally arrived in St. Louis this morning. While Carbondale is only about an hour away, I'm doubting they will get in there in time for delivery today, which means they'll meet their self-imposed poor quality standard of delivery tomorrow.

In all likelihood, I'm certain TD will try to get these processed (as much as they can) same day. That still means they won't be able to ship back to me until Monday (unless they plan to work on Saturday). In that event, whether or not I get this back in time for V4c is about 50/50. That would be highly disappointing, but I place 0% blame on TD. After this, I am done using USPS for transmutes. Just not worth the anxiety.

Anyway, I hope I'm wrong and something in the process breaks my way. It just hasn't happened thus far.

Edit: On the good news side, my package to Trent is out for delivery this morning. So i guess it takes 2 1/2 days to ship to the east coast from Wisconsin, but 4 days to ship to a neighboring state.

My NC and IA packages are now in their proper states. The IL package to Jeff is still the odd ball out, as the last scan was still Indy. It likely is in St. Louis but just won't update till it is delivered.

Mine that had been stuck in Indy did finally update to StL last night, Carbondale this morning, and out for delivery to TD currently. So maybe ours didn't wind up on the same truck after all.

I'm still in the exact same boat as you. My ticket with USPS was also with my local post office, and when I asked them for an update, they told me: "We have tried reaching out to the facility to last have this package but have not heard back from them. We can only assume they are behind due to short staffing issues like many of the facilities across the country. We hope you can remain patient as facilities work hard at getting packages pushed through."

They marked my case as resolved.

Final point of anecdata unless something drastic happens: Package is out for delivery today, which means it made it in two days (USPS picked up Tuesday afternoon, package delivery Thursday). It was insured for several hundred dollars.

I wish there was a casino where I could place a bet on whether or not my package makes it on time.

Then if it's lost or several weeks late, I could at least win money.

Looks like if I'm lucky my transmutes might arrive in Carbondale tomorrow. I'm not going to hold my breath. After arriving in St. Louis around 4:19am this morning, they were scanned as departing St. Louis at 12:26pm this afternoon. The next update is that they departed St. Louis a 2nd time at 6:11pm this evening. I wonder how many times they need to depart before they actually do so. Of course there's no guarantee that their departure even means they are headed for Carbondale. It's been 2 1/2 hours and they haven't arrived anywhere yet.

I dropped my 2021 transmutes off at the main Chicago post office at 8:50 am on Tuesday. It took 16 hours for them to get to Elk Grove Village. They arrived in St. Louis at 1:38 pm today, 36 hours after leaving Elk Gove Village. They left St Louis at 6:12 pm today, so maybe our boxes are on the same truck, Dave. Expected delivery is on Saturday, but I really hope they make it there tomorrow because TD isn’t always open on Saturdays. Fingers crossed.

ETA: Hah. Spoke too soon. My package departed St. Louis again at 8:34 pm.
