Mine was scanned into the Indy Annex at 10:46 AM, which means I may get it Saturday, lol

LOL - Let the follies continue.

So, my package went from Carbondale to St. Louis to Aurora to Oak Creek in less than 24 hours. Everything was going perfectly fine. The package was 15 miles from my house. And then for some reason Oak Creek decided to ship my package back to Aurora. Sigh.

In a perfect world, there's still plenty of time for Aurora to ship it back and for it to be delivered tomorrow. But I'm certain that's not this world. Hopefully, it will arrive by Saturday.

I think the frustrating thing is that I know they can do it right. Prior to this shipment I've tracked 22 shipments from Carbondale to my house. 16 of them have made it here in 2 business days. I consider that the optimal and expected path. But 6 of them have suffered misroutings and/or multiple delays. What business thinks a 27% error rate is acceptable?

Edit: And now there's hope!!! Has anyone ever had a problem with the Aurora site? I have not. All the shipments I've tracked that go into Aurora have been routed quickly and accurately once they get there. And now they took the package Oak Creek erroneously shipped back to them and shipped it right back to Oak Creek. I love them. If they're looking for replacement postmaster, they might look at who's in charge of Aurora.

My treasure seems to have escaped the vortex and is due in LA on Saturday.

More concerned about my GC badge - the label was created on 8/6 and is still apparently sitting on someone's desk in Seattle.

I will believe it when the package arrives at its next destination. (Usually Aurora, IL.) Estimated delivery is Saturday, but we’ll see.

Well, seems like things have hit Aurora now. So, hopefully things are on track.

Yep, our package allegedly made it to Aurora at 10 am today. Which is good! Should be at the Chicago distribution center by tomorrow, and the main Chicago post office (and then out for delivery) by Saturday. Fingers crossed.

Where in Chicago? I lived in Rogers Park for a couple years.

#WestLoopBestLoop, although previously, I lived in Hyde Park for 5 years.

It also means we’re close to the main Chicago post office, which helps when shipping transmutes back to TDHQ. Free underground parking, extended hours, and if we’re lucky, no line when they open at 8:30 am.

sorry, no, Oak Creek, Wisconsin. Aurora is outside Chicago and is only a little more than an hour from Oak Creek. I'm very glad they were able to ship it out twice in the same day. Sadly, Oak Creek seems to be going down the path of St. Louis.

Oh man, bringing up saves like that reminds me of the several times they only just barely past their Fort saves and came in super crushed for me. I once had a $250 pack arrive in a box mising a whole side. Still had everything I ordered, but just not the materials used to ship it.

I want to be with your tokens.

Wow, just wow. Mine did thankfully arrive today, but really nothing worth mentioning. That's alright. I've had some good pulls this year. This just wasn't one of them.
