TOPIC: USPS follies

Mine officially updated to Tuesday delivery.

Tokens delivered. Still 2 hours of work left before I can dive into them.

My treasure is a little short. I will drop Lori a message later, but I got all my sealed starter packs, all my seal treasure 20 packs, my 3 rogue rares, my completion tokens but not the loose treasure. It is 16 so though not a lot, nothing to sneeze at either.

Before Memorial Day, I bought some tokens from one of the player stores. USPS transported the tokens across multiple states to Memphis (the nearest distribution center to me) in only 2 days! USPS then realized that such high performance might alter future expectations and acted quickly to correct the situation. The package was next seen in Pittsburgh where it has hung out for a week. I am now waiting on USPS to respond to my update request.

Sigh. They were so close...

Patron run was super fun last weekend. Now it's back to waiting on another package. I got my shipping notice on Monday. USPS accepted the package on Monday. It got to St. Louis Monday night. It left St. Louis very early this morning. And now it's arrived back in St. Louis. I guess this the friendly vortex reminding me it hasn't gone anywhere. Actually, my last 4 shipments from Carbondale went very smoothly, so I guess I was overdue for a delay. Sigh.

Our Patron Run loot allegedly left St. Louis at 1:06, 3:01, and 3:53 this morning. I’m waiting for it to show up somewhere else before I believe that it has actually left St. Louis.

Yep, mine has now left St. Louis for 2nd time at 7:50am this morning. The last time it did this it subsequently went off the grid for two days and then reappeared in Chicago. All of my packages that have flowed smoothly have left St. Louis between 3am and 4am. Other departures times, not so much.

I had some transmutes last week that left on Thursday and made it to me on Saturday. Now if only my treasure got to me that fast.

Vortex games are afoot. So far my package has arrived in St. Louis, departed St. Louis, arrived in St. Louis, departed St. Louis and then (just to be different) it departed St. Louis again before finally arriving in St. Louis.

I'd find this all very humorous if I really didn't want the package.

Agreed. Mine is "in transit" without being scanned leaving St. Louis at all.

Boo

Well, my package left St. Louis this morning (for the 4th time). Let's hope this sticks. It did leave in the normal expected timeframe of 3am-4am, so I'm a bit more optimistic it may have been released from the vortex.

Mine made it to the Indy annex at 10am yesterday. Apparently they've decided that since the expected delivery wasn't until tomorrow they should just keep it there instead of sending it on to Carmel last night.
