TOPIC: HeroQuest Haslab Crowdfunded Game

I'm sure many here played the original version of HeroQuest so just in case anyone missed this, Hasbro is crowdfunding a new version. So far, many stretch goals have been unlocked intcluding a new Warlock hero, additional monster minis and dice, and a new Quest Book. Many more goodies including yet another Quest Book and TWO more hero characters; Druid and Bard. Here's the link to learn more about it.

I really loved this game as a kid and through this game, I snared many a "casual" into embracing adventure boardgames and RPGs. Here's to hoping this new version does the same for a whole new generation!

I snagged a mythic tier day 1, can't wait for this release. Here's hoping they bring out the 4 UK only expansions if this does well

Yes. But I'm really hoping this leads to Advanced HeroQuest with the modular dungeons.

I have a nearly perfect copy of the original that was pulled from a library that had a board game section. Seriously considering this just so I have one with all the expansions and that I won't feel nervous about playing, but then I have to buy a few less tokens......

I still have my childhood copy and I'm only missing (1) spell card. I guess if all goes well, we might see a retail release but I don't imagine all the extra minis and such will come with it.

Thinking about it, I spent more on my base copy of the original game than I would for this, so I'm thinking I'm in.

I had backed but cancelled. Debating backing again, depends on budget and token orders I place.

Less than 50k away from 2 extra zombies.

Might have to sign back up for this. My main worry is the likelihood of it going to the shelf of shame.

I was excited at first but talked myself out of it when my wife asked if I wanted to play our original copy and I opted for castle ravenloft instead =/
