That’s right - I remember now him getting knocked down. Lucy was a Outfielder then - heckling him from afar.

Linus as the catcher seems right. Marcie was the coach in the dugout. Was Peppermint Patty the first baseman? I remember her having conversations with Charlie on the mound. And I also seem to recall Snoopy as an outfielder too

Charlie Brown was the pitcher, indeed. Schroeder was his catcher. Lucy I believe was in right field (she was the worst player). And Peppermint Patty managed her own team - she was not on Charlie Brown's team.

The best player on the team was Snoopy, who was the shortstop. The current comics that are appearing in the papers are about his trying to tie Babe Ruth's homerun record before Hank Aaron does.
