Matrix

Oblivion
Minority Report
Day After Tomorrow

Damnation Alley
Logan's Run

I don’t know many of those are unusual, outside of day after tomorrow.

How about Robot Jocks?

I'm under-emphasizing "unusual" and over-emphasizing "favorite". :)

Although, I think Damnation Alley is pretty obscure these days...

Eraserhead should count as unusual. Just typing the title makes me want to see it again, especially with someone who’s never seen it.

I've been a huge fan of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension, ever since I watched it again in college during a freshman seminar class and realized I'd actually seen it as a kid, because my dad owned it on Betamax.

That and Spaceballs as a kid probably account for my sense of humor.

Hardware Wars. - low budget Star Wars parody using household appliances for props.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

Classic! Troopers was awesome also!

Do you mean Troops? That was the Cops satire made by Kevin Rubio ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_Rubio ) years ago.

And here is Ackbar's Eleven which Rubio produced...

I did mean Troops! I've still got it on DVD I think. Back in the day, Total Film Magazine included a DVD which had movie trailers, short films, and other fun stuff on it, and Troops was on one of them.

Speaking of fun Star Wars movies, I can't wait for the Taiki Waititi Star Wars film, that should be super fun and hilarious (as should Thor, Love and Thunder). :)
