Thank you for the warm welcome, I appreciate it. My PC was updated a few months ago and it's ready for the challenge! I just can't believe I hadn't heard of this website before, I idle a lot and I'm going to be running it from here on out, regardless of the event. As far as favorite class goes, I haven't dipped my toes into a tabletop RPG in ages but I do favor rogues. I may try something different though, it will be looked into further.

Its been 2 weeks already. How crazy is that? With the giveaway about half over, where do we stand?

We now have 15 members on Folding at Home's Team TD, and the team has improved to 3518 of 253,202 teams! 5 of those members have already completed the entire month's number of work units to qualify, and several more are close to reaching 30 WUs.

For Rosetta, we have 8 team members, 6 of which have reached the necessary amount of average credit already!

What does this mean? It means its not too late to start participating and to still qualify!

And for those that love fancy status graphics, Folding@Home fixed a long broken screensaver function recently - you can see the protein you’re working on and some stats!

Do I have to download a new client to fix the screen saver? I was demoing F@H earlier in the week and it wasn't working.

Yup! I just installed an updated client, and then enabled the screensaver. Looks pretty cool! The BOINC client has a screensaver as well - it’s got more scientific data, but it’s not a pretty.

I knew about the boinc client - I used to run the original Seti at home as a screen saver

I'm listed as Marc in Boinc and Marcques_Domask Folding at Home. I had updated my name in Boinc, but doesn't look like the update made it into the list. Thanks!
