It can vary a bit by the dropzone. It depends on the gear they use, the size of their tandem instructors, etc. Typically it is 250# or 260# limit but it could be something you could check around about.

it was 235 where we did it beccause we had 1 friend 10 lb over the limit. That 235 might have been fully clothed too not certain since they did weigh us on site.

Just over 500 jumps for me. I'll have to start bringing my rig to Cons and maybe we can catch a jump together sometime.

Too much weight... especially on a tandem jump... means the parachute can't slow one enough to make a safe landing.

For indoor obviously there is some sort of weight limit, a fan is not going to lift 5 million tons (yes I am exgerating because I don't know what the limits are but there would be some sort of limit). It would depend on the place I would imagine. If you google it you might have your answer.
