Like Nick in the video below, I think regional exclusives migrating is highly unlikely.

Basically 50+ spins a day since launch, 4 evo items a day, got a king rock today :)

Also hatched a dratini today so I only need a stupid tangela to finish gen 1.

Well if trading ever becomes a thing, there is always the silph road to bucket brigade trade them across the globe.

Up to 900 spins now, only two King's Rocks to show for it. While I am okay with unlocking or migrating the regional Pokemon, I would wager we don't get trading at all. Niantic has started cracking down on vendors in Ingress, and trading would be a way for people to 'sell' Pokemon.

Up to three seven day streaks with 0 evolution items off them. Still only 1 Sun Stone total on probably 600+ spins.......

They certainly changed the 7 day spin amount. I think whatever code was there making it more common has changed. Its down to a flat rate per drop along with all the other spin drop rates. ~ 1/10th of 1 percent.

Well, the Sig.Other and I did our 7-day-streak spins yesterday. He got a Steel Coat, and I got... nothin'.

So for him, that's now 2 of the 7-day spins which gave evo. items.

For me, only the very first 7-day spin got me an item.

(I did get a couple evo. items from random spins, tho. And by random I mean I've spun over 1000 stops since the update, so I'm on the curve.)

I keep seeing people talking about doing high-hundreds of spins looking for special items and you have over 1000 since the update, and I cant imagine I have spun anywhere near that. so I checked my pokestops visited achievement...I have spun 3134...total...that is since I started, right? and I am level 28. what do you do with all those items? are you just filling your backpack, ditching everything but the best stuff, repeat? or do you use everything and you are well over level 30?

The building I working is a stop, so I spin every 5 minutes. I delete quite a bit.

I have a set number of balls, potions, and revives. I trash all of the crap and gradually increase my percentage of ultra balls. At one point I had over 800 ultra balls, no great balls, and 50 regular balls. I once went down to zero red balls, but then remembered Go Plus only throws red balls, so I keep a few dozen for that.

Even if I trash everything I get from a spin, I still earn 50 XP, so it's worth it.

I walk about an hour per day in an area where I can basically always be spinning, and ya I throw away a few hundred items per day.

A bit of both?

I'm L30+ now, and I use most of the items* that I spin. But part of how I play depends on what I've been spinning.

If I've got a lot of potions, I'll go find gyms to fight. Our local Mystic team has a facebook page, and post things like "Pls help me take down the L10 yellow at Millenium Place" so I'll head over and take the gym down, healing up with the smallest potions first, until I'm out of potions or out of gym to fight. But if I have tons of balls, I'll head to Costco and catch all the Pokemon in the parking lot (which usually means parking in 4 of 5 different places) and I don't worry much about accuracy. Whereas, when I'm low on balls, I throw more curve balls, and sometimes run away from critters that are obstinately refusing to get into the ball (I don't need you that badly, you stupid weedle!)

*Except Nanab berries. I throw those out as fast as I get 'em.
I'll throw out Raspberries, too, once I have more than ~30 of them. Or I just start using them on every pokemon I catch - including pidgies - to use them up.

Yeah, you'll find that those folks that are fortunate enough to have access to a pokestop rich area, or those that are lucky enough to actually work with a pokestop have learned to optimize out their space. I'm sure we've all maxed out bag space to 1000 and still feel its not enough.

With 2 questions I can learn a lot about a player, 1. How many max heals do you have? 2. How many Ultraballs do you have?

If they say 0 to both I can assume they are lower level. Beyond that I can learn what type of player they are or where in the player cycle they are. Early on you in "level" mode and pokeballs are the most important. To the point that folks most often ditch their heals. Later when the levels slow you want coins or get bored and think about fighting gyms and optimize more heals. Eventually you catch them all and don't really care for pokeballs except to level and you likely have more heals then balls. When new pokemon are released AKA Gen2 there is a switch back toward balls.

Amusing side note, red balls seem totally worthless and you throw them away unless you have a plus. Then you find blue balls most aggravating just like in real life :)
The plus probably means you spend 100 pokeballs a day.

Gaming has taught me to be a hoarder, so I always run near max on both bag and inventory space. I am the guy that will do an evolve run and then throw them at a gym to beat it down or build it up, before I candy them only to start the cycle again. Remember they candy at 0HP just as easily as Full, might as well use them.

While I don't have a pokestop at my desk that I can spin, I still find time to go spin some to maintain my inventory. I have access to 32 pokestops that I can spin inside of 10minuets. As spin every 19seconds is good but not amazing. I do feel really sorry for those folks that can only find 3-4 stops to spin in their small town. I typically only need 1 or 2 loops before I go about my day.
