TOPIC: NFL survival pool my donated token revealed

Oh yeah, if CLE beats NE so many survivor leagues will be in ashes. I'd guess about half though, on the one side it's as close to a sure thing as I think you can get in a survivor league. On the other hand, it IS brady's first game back and upsets can happen anywhere, anytime. People may want to pick another team in the hopes that they can survive a potential slaughter if CLE wins. DRAMA!!!

Absolutely. Think about it this way. Cleveland is at home. With all the press around Brady's return and given their massive underdog role, this is as close as Cleveland will get this year to a playoff atmosphere. This is their Super Bowl. Emotionally, they are going to be as charged as they're ever going to be. The reality though is that New England is more talented. So can emotion overcome talent. It has before in the NFL, so this game is no guarantee. I still see New England winning, but stranger things have happened.

Well, of the 15 people left, only 2 have previously selected New England, so we could have as many as 13 pick them. I know when I look at their schedule for the rest of the year, I don't see another game home or away that they will be more heavily favored to win. Should be interesting. The only other team heavily favored this week is Pittsburgh and no one has picked them yet. But then they have yet to play the Browns.

Point of Information: Green Bay is also a 7 point favorite. Playing at home and coming off a bye against the Giants who were also on the road last week when they lost to Minnesota.

That's very true, but there seems to be a big dropoff from the people picking New England to Pittsburgh and then from Pittsburgh to Green Bay.

I was traveling for work this week and completely forgot to make my pick before Thursday's game.

Since I'm an idiot, just wanted to wish everyone else good luck.

My pick would have been New England, so double good luck to folks who picked the Patriots this week.
