TOPIC: NFL survival pool my donated token revealed

Well, speaking of that game specifically.

In my very humble opinion, it looked to be a trap game to me. New England on their third string quarterback against the Bills who hate NWE with a passion. NWE is one of my teams for later in the season.

I will admit that week 6 and week 12 are not looking pretty. Hence the reason I am thrilled that I haven't embarrassed myself. (Point of note, I was one of the masses that sweated bullets that Cleveland would beat Miami)

Definitely going with NE against CLE.

Sure glad I got Carolina out of the way. They seem to be having, um, issues.

I have the same feeling about them and the Texans. Struggling against Tennessee is not a good sign.

Generally, I don't think picking a road team is a good idea. This week might be the one exception. Brady back and coming off a loss, NE is going to want to rebound. You just have to hope Brady isn't rusty and throws a couple of early picks. That's the problem with picking against home teams. If they get lucky early, the crowd can get into it and who knows what happens.

Even the worst teams usually manage a couple of upsets over the course of the year. You just don't want to pick them on one of those weeks.

Yeah, the NE/CLE game LOOKS like the best bet, but it's definitely not a gimme, there just aren't a lot of great options.

I haven't felt truly safe with any picks this year... this week is no different.

I'm guessing at least 10. Survivor pools in general will be gutted if Cleveland pulls off an upset.

I'm in for 8. I suspect some people will hope for the upset to clear out alot of competition.
