Thanks for the link, but I was looking for a more personal review: what people typically spend, do you get too much food, things like that.

At this point I'm planning to attend, I just want to make sure I'm not spending half my food budget for the convention in one night. I will need to eat at least once again before sunday.

Personally I will say St Elmo's it is overpriced and am going for the company. I will have an appetizer and drinks.

As mentioned, everyone gets the Shrimp Cocktail - they sell more of those than steaks.

Obviously everyone's appetite is different, but I will typically get a shrimp cocktail, a NY Strip or Filet, and a beer, and will not be able to finish my steak. Sides can be shared by the group. I've certainly had better steak elsewhere, but I'm not sure I can say I've ever had better shrimp. I am told the shrimp arrives daily from Vietnam.

Not sure I want to wolf down a lot of food that late, but I would love to swing by and be social.

The reservation is made and I adjusted it to 10:00 PM due to our later start on the GT (7PM instead of 5PM). I will remind everyone that there is a suggested 20% gratuity due to our large party size. Also please bring cash because it is likely to be put on 1 check per St. Elmo's rules for large parties.
