Namor predates the X-Men and the FF, and his mutant status was a retcon. And given the whole Quicksilver/Scarlet Witch thing, the borderline characters appear to be on a first come, first serve basis.

Marvel clarified recently that the Namor movie rights still reside at Universal. I'm not sure how much longer Universal has to make a Namor movie before the rights transfer back to Marvel. Joe Quesada was surprised they hadn't transferred already, he (and most people) thought they had.

From my understanding when Fox acquired the FF rights everything went with them that the have dealt with in the comics. That is why the Skrulls in the Avengers had to use the Ultimate Universe name for them of Chitauri. Atlanteans are an FF primary feature so Marvel Studios can't use them.

As to Scarlett With and Quicksilver. In Cap 2 they are described by Stucker as altered humans. In the X-Men DoFP movie coming out they are being used as mutants. I'm really curious how having two quite different sets of Maximoff twins will work out for Marvel on a whole.

Some other poster mentioned about Sitwell and the last episode of AoS taking place after Cap 2. Not so. Sitwell in last week's episode states he is being diverted to the ship that Cap's team rescues from Batroc The Leaper. The last scene of last week's AoS shows Fury in the car chase at the beginning of Cap 2. That wasn't a trailer. That was shown to be happening real time withnAoS.

It wasn't quite that simple, some things went with the FF rights, some didn't, and maybe some are co-owned (like Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch). Marvel still has the rights to the Inhumans and Black Panther even though they originated with the Fantastic Four, and clearly can use Ronan and the Kree even though they also originated with the Fantastic Four. I know Fox has the FF, Dr. Doom, Galactus, and the Silver Surfer. I'm not sure what else went to Fox (I don't think they've ever given a list of what Marvel has and what Fox has).

And I don't think Fox has exclusive rights to the Atlanteans because it has already been stated those rights are at Universal for now. That may be because Namor and Atlanteans predated the Fantastic Four by a couple of decades.

Nick Fury, Ben Grimm, Logan, as well as the entire Marvel U haven't been allowed to smoke for over 10 years now. Joey Q (Quesada) had a relative get some sort of cancer from smoking back then and made it a mandate that the heroes/villains of the MU will never smoke again.

As to the Infinity Formula...

This version of Nick Fury is the Ultimates version. He was never in WWII as part of the Howling Commandoes.

I went to the SHIELD panel at Paleyfest, and they said there would be definite connections between AoS episodes from 4/1 and 4/8 and WINTER SOLDIER.

And I think WINTER SOLDIER was the best Marvel movie, excepting AVENGERS.

Brian, I hadn't though of that, but it makes a lot of sense. They said the Zola program could in a way predict the future, so perhaps Zola is the Clairvoyant. I doubt it in a way though because I suspect they will reserve Zola for the next Captain America installment, they might not want to give away that he still exists in the SHIELD TV Show. But I could be wrong, that would be a neat thing to see on SHIELD

Pretty sure it was "once he got a close look at the [engines]." I laughed out loud, and someone on the other side of the theater did, but no one else seemed to catch it.

My favorite part has got to be the elevator scene

I got my biggest laugh with the Wargames reference

One of my favorite parts was when they referenced Stephen Strange. The whole Arnim Zola scene was pretty great.

Loved the reference to the helicarrier engines!

And Raven, I agree, I think the elevator fight was one of my favorite parts. The only thing I wish was different about it - I pictured it like this.

I'm actually hoping that he remains "bad." It would make for a more interesting story. Overall, though--I'm really excited about the direction the show may be taking. I think it's also possible that Fitz or Simmons (or both?) might still be HYDRA...
