Yeah, that's a big factor for me. I will likely bump up to three sets of unpainted pieces before it's all said and done. :)

For what I'll be doing with it I'll probably not need more than two sets. I figure I'll only use it at GENCON, and I don't want to carry around more than that anyway :)

Getting 5 sets in grey. Well versed in miniature panting as anyone who saw my dragon that I posted on here can tell.

Now that I look at the number of tiles what with the stretch goals I am thinking I might have gotten a bit too much! Over 300 tiles now. I'm sure I'll figure out something to do with them.
You can't fix stupid but you can TPK it.

Am so thinking about getting 5 grey sets and having a friend paint them up or show me the basics. I have 2 weeks to until it's over :) so I have some time. My poor credit card is going to hate me.

Too bad they can't be done before GC. Then you could have them shipped to someone in the USA and take them back with you.

Check out the video on painting the tiles. It is on the kickstarter site and is very informative.

Painted here. I have no artistic talent.

And I wonder how the floor pack is going to work, once we get that far. Will it be the same price as the other two add-ons? Will DF add 3 and 4 add-on sets?

sadly the reason shipping is high is for a reason. it would destroy my luggage allowance while flying.

why must the cool things be so far away? :)

So far I've pledged at 2 grey and both unlocked packs. I anticipate the purchase of the next 2 unlocked packs as well. I have considered bumping to a 3rd primary set to take advantage of the free rewards that would come as they are really starting to pile up.

I've talked a friend into it as well and he's going in at the 2 or 3 set level.

We have a massive table for our saturday games so it can easily accomidate the tiles. I already own the original DF stuff and my only complaint was transport and storage of the stuff. This new product eliminates that entirely so I"m more than happy to replace my existing stuff.

I got into the Reaper kickstarter as well so I'm no stranger to painting thats why I chose gray. I"m also contemplating different colors so I have a traditional set and maybe a town set or desert set or something different. I haven't decided. I might have to obtain much more to accomplish that though.
Sweet a combat room, we won't take damage!

After building a few things with the map maker Im really finding myself wishing they would release a basic corners pack. I like to make long maze like dungeons and always seem to run out of corners way before I get close to running out of floor)

As to paint, Im thinking I may go with a yellowie beige base, hilight a few bricks in burnt umber and a white drybrush for a desert like motif.

Have you tried bongous.com ?

They have the ability to have a product shipped to a US address then forward it to anywhere in the world. Since they ship a lot of packages they get huge discounts to shipping.

150K 'til we get stairs. But we're in the home stretch, so it should be doable. I know I'm gonna probably do two more add-ons when I get my next paycheck...
