It is miserable outside. It has been sleeting for nearly 4 hours and we are expecting 10-15 inches of snow tonight. WeeHaw!
This displaced Texas boy did not grow up liking this kind of stuff.

I won't upset you by telling you about the weather here. My Mom, on the other hand, has been dealing with all that ice and snow as well. She's having a tough time dealing with it - seems like the worst winter in quite a while.

We're not getting the snow today, but it is supposed to be a -30 wind chill here tonight.

Well, I am currently snowed in. I tried going to work, but when I got to my car and realized that there were snow drifts to my waist, I gave up. I think we had 10 inches so far, with no sign of stopping. Glad I went to the store this morning!

This weather pattern is almost identical to one back in the early 70's. Same ice snow and temps. I remember skating on the streets. As a kid it was a blast. The last two hours I spent getting the ice off the driveway wasn't so much of a blast.

Back then everyone was CERTAIN we were entering a new ice age.
You can't fix stupid but you can TPK it.
