: But now, alas, I must leave for a while to visit my horse and wash some blankets at the laundromat.

Why do you leave your horse at the landromat? ;)

Very funny. :smt019

But I was washing horse blankets at the laundromat. They are very large, and get REALLY dirty, so I can't wash them at home.

If so, what did you think of the Lady Pirate Blouse?

I like the lady pirate blouse, but I really like the gypsy blouse with long split sleeves. I'll have to get one if I ever get a stomach as nice and flat as yours. ;)

And I see how it is. You talk with me until I'm not here, then call up Suzanne and give her ideas for how it increase her post count. I see where your true loyalties lie. :smt022

She's up to #13. But I'm only about 18 posts behind. ;)

Hey, I gotta catch up to my Bro some how!
Besides, come on, you know of luv you too. I made you a avatar to show off how lovely you are, didn't I???
*HUGS*
*bribes you with flowers*

I don't think I'd wear the gypsy blouse outside of my room. It'd be awful drafty. I'm a more of a layers kinda gal. Like at the con, I had on at 3-4 layers over most of me. *little laugh* I'll stick with hiding under yards and yards of fabric.
Of course considering I'm stuck in the house most of the time, I don't suppose it matters. *little laugh*

If I had a stomach like yours, I'd have to show it off. That's one reason I got my belly button pierced, to help motivate me to get in shape so I can show it off. I'm not quite there yet, but closer than I was when I got it done.

*little laugh* There is a reason why that tummy you keep mentioning is so white. And that is because it has never seen a spot of sunlight in my entire life. And it'll stay that way.

Mine is white, and will stay that way, but not because I won't expose it. My best friend is sunscreen. My mother had a small melanoma several years ago, and I've been told I'm high risk. My face gets suncreen every day, and I also use it on any part of my body that will be exposed to the sun that day. If it's going to be "casual" exposure, I use SPF35. but if I'm going to the barn, or a Ren Faire, etc, it's SPF50+.

Yes, Sunscreen is your friend!
Pale, freckled Irish skin, I can burn in the shade. And have! *little laugh* My brothers always joked they were gonna play connect the dots on my arms and shoulders.
And I learned long ago never to go out bare legged. On the rare occasion I do wear shorts I wear tinted hoisery, lest I get the Ahh I'm blinded comments, or are you gonna hand out raybans?
You see I stay covered as a public courtesy, lest I blind someone, or to keep from killing those who obligated to make rude comments. As such why in blog and site, face shots you will only find one if you look. Otherwise in the words of the queen of hearts, Off with her head! *little laugh*

But definitely if it gets rays, its gets sunscreen. Be kind to your skin, and be kind to your knees you'll miss them when they're gone. *little laugh*
Baz Lurhman's Everybody is Free to wear sunscreen is a great song!
