So does everyone have their costumes ready for SoCal?

Me thinks since the bulk of mine are in another state, I need to toss something together. And lesimony dear, don't even think about suggesting me wearing a gypsy blouse. ;)
I was just wondering if anyone else was working on their costumes too.

Raven actually *made* me an awesome tunic, red/black with gold trim. Looks incredible!

I'll let her decide if she wants to post a picture. Othewise you all will have to wait until November. :D

I've been working on my bracers, Kevin's bracers, and my leather corset. All the leather is cut out. I have the carving pattern ready for my stuff, and have actually finished carving one bracer. Still a lot of work to do, but I'm getting there.

I finally got some bracers as well...just some plain (fake)leather ones - but I am hopeful mom and I can sew a design on them...

I finished sewing the tapestry Bar Maid Bodice. Tuesday I shall pin and sew the trim on it, I think.

If you find you can't sew a design on them, adding metal studs or conchos would be an easy way to dress them up. Let me know if you need help or ideas. ;)

hmmmm. i haven't seen the movie. but it sounds like "man of the house". i remember the preview when tommy lee jones walks into the bathroom and all the cheerleaders underwear is hanging up. if that isn't it, then i'm clueless.
