RAVEN - welcome to the SUPER run!!!
(snip)
Thanks to Jeff for adding an 8th slot to the eBay Super Run auction adventure...

Yes, THANK YOU JEFF!!!!
I'm very excited about going. And the idea of playing a Barbarian is growing on me. I think I may even have some custom fangs around for upper and lower canines - if I wear just the lower set, it might look like tiny tusks. Toss a furry vest and some leather bracers on, and you've got Instant Half-Orc!
I guess I'm the runt of the litter, though.

As for saving a life - We had someone come into our medical clinic with breathing trouble (asthma related) and she started to Crash while we were treating her. I was able to grab the Doctor and start oxygen and get the Epi (adrenaline injection) ready and all that, before the ambulance arrived. In fact, by the time the EMT's got to the scene, we already had her stabilized. It was very cool to be a part of that.

DD,
I'm glad they finally seem to be straightening things out. I haven't had a chance to look at what they sell yet, but have been planning to.

*little laugh* Gee thanks Raven, Now I'm wondering how my faux wolf fur would look in a vest or bodice.
Would you quit giving me ideas, I already have enough! I need more time in the day, . . . too many . . . ideas.

 How about faux fur boot tops??

They'd be pretty easy. Make them 5-6 inches wide, line them to finish the edges. Have them fasten by putting conchos on one side and either button holes or loops made of cord/leather on the other side to fasten over the concho. Sew one or two metal "belt clips" to the inside to keep them from sliding down below the boot top. Like these .

Hmmmmm, think I need to start looking for a nice purple faux fur and make a pair for myself. ;)

DD - Here's my reply from the Token thread:

New strategy, let the wookie win. ;)

Been there, done that, have the t-shirt. Literally. I have a cute shirt that says "Let the Wookie win"

Well admittedly I haven't seen the newer movies. But I have a hard time imagining something much more revealing than that Jabba's slave costume.

Nothing that revealing, but some stunning costumes, many of which show "some" skin.

Then you can show off your belly ring. ;)

Edited because my links to the pics aren't working. You can find them by going here and following the links on the left to Padme Amidala costumes, and look at the Gallery of Reference and Exhibit photos.

Me thinks there is something wrong with your image links.

I know this is probably obvious, but make sure your image hosting site has the hotlinking turned on. You may have accidently selected to turn it off. Because they images were in your cache, they loaded, whereas those of us who don't can't see them.
Just a thought to check.

Raven,

Welcome, welcome to the Super Run. Congratulations on the timely efforts in the medical clinic.

Maybe you better bring some of that EPI with you for the party members after I start to sing as a bard.
