Good run tonight - 45 minutes with a hill workout (run up the Santa Monica Pier road 5 times).  Hoping to have a good race this Saturday!<br />

I ran about 60 minutes this morning, probably a little over 6 miles.  I included the course I will be running on Saturday for the Santa Monica Gobble Wobble (hey, I didn't name it!).  My goal will be to break 26 minutes - keep your fingers crossed.<br />

As far as fundraising goes, I have some big news.  I have reached 50% of my fundraising goal - thanks to everyone who has donated!<br /><br />Remember, anyone that donates has a chance of winning an ultra-rare purp token that Jeff is very generously donating.  But in addition, I have been gotten another offer from Smak - Smak is going to give anyone who makes a $25 or higher donation to my site a free 2010 Tokenholics Anonymous T-shirt.  So anyone who donates to my website will have a chance to win an ultra-rare token AND will receive a free tokenholics t-shirt, in addition to supporting a great cause.<br /><br />Check my sig for a link to my website.  It will probably be easiest for me to contact donors to get their shirt sizes, which I will then pass on to Smak!<br /><br />Thanks Jeff, Smak, and everyone who has given me support!<br /><br />Brian<br />

I did send in some checks last Monday, Kithren, but I guess with the holiday they haven't been processed yet.  Hopefully they will show up soon.  I have a few more to send in now.<br /><br />Ran a 5k road race yesterday, and while I didn't break 26 min (26:06), I did run under an 8:30 pace, so I was happy with that.  Ran 6 miles with Team in Training today at a pretty easy pace - both my mentor/race pace buddy and I were sick, so we took it easy.<br /><br />There is still time to donate money on my fundraising website or by check to qualify for the drawing for an ultra-rare purple token donated by Jeff, and if you donate $25 or more, Smakdown will give you a Tokenholics Anonymous t-shirts for free!<br /><br />You can donate or check on my progress by clicking on the link in my signature.

Well, I can accept donations up to and even after the marathon in March, 2010, but there are certain goals I have to reach before then, so if people can make donations sooner rather than later, that would be great.  However, any money at any time to help the L&LS is really appreciated!<br /><br />Another factor that people may want to consider is the end of the year deadline to claim charitable donations as deductions on their 2009 tax returns.  I can provide receipts from the L&LS to anyone who would like one.<br /><br />Brian<br />
