Jeff had not said. I was assuming that he would pick one to send. Of course, one should never assume!

I'll ask Jeff if I can clarify this.
Heck of a track workout last night. I mile warm-up, then 4 X 100 meter strides, then 35 minutes of fartlek, then 1200 staggered start where you try not to get passed, then half-mile cooldown. Taking today off, then 4 tmr and 10 on Sunday.

So the recovery continues. Saturday I did about 4.5 miles, then yesterday I did 10, the most I did before the problems started. Today is a rest day, with more PT in the afternoon. Gotta keep doing my stretches and exercises!

The marathon is in about 8 weeks! Wow! I'm only about $200 from my fundrasining goal as well. Things are going very well!

Easy 6 miles last night with my mentor and two teammates. Beautiful night, although a little chilly.

Didn't get to run Sat, due to travel complications, but I did run 13 miles yesterday morning. Beautiful run in Monterey along a bike/pedestrian path. Farthest I've ever run! Little sore today - got to do my morning stretches.
Ran about 5 miles last night. Was supposed to be a speed workout, but after the second 800m repeat, I felt a pain in my left hip (the formerly non-hurt one) and had to slow down. Felt okay at a slow steady pace, but could not push the speed. very annoying. Might be bursitis, so I am sitting here typing this with an ice pack on my hip. Meh.

Okay, so the hip pain turned out to be somewhat serious, and I had to take another week off from running. However, I have run three times since last week, including 12 miles yesterday. I won't be at peak condition for the marathon, but I should be able to do it. It's now less than four weeks away!

Just a few days ago, I hit my fundraising goal. The last donation that put me over the goal was from a TD forumite! Hoody hoo! Thanks to everyone who has donated!

There is still time to donate if you would like to qualify for the purp drawing. Check my sig for the link to my fundraising website. I may have met my goal, but the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is still working hard to reach theirs - a cure!

Way to go Brian. Well done. Hope the hip recovers well enough for you to feel good about all the work you have put into the effort.
