With V25 in the rear view mirror, it's time to finalize class selections so we can start working on our GrindHog builds -- which will need to be uniquely and heavily customized for this run, even for regular members of the Order who already maintain standard hedgehog builds. I've added some notes to the top post with thoughts on that.

Assuming we're allowed to do so in Grind, someone with a Skull they haven't used yet this year should plan to play the Dwarf Defender sub-class.

Based on preferences already stated, I think it makes sense for Limitless17 to play Elf, so we just need firm selections for BasicBraining, Charles, and Kaledor. Unless none of those three wants Dwarf Defender, in which case Limitless17 mentioned that as a possibility.

I’m happy to play Dwarf Defender, but I won’t have any subclass vouchers for this run. If anyone does and wants to play DD themselves, they’re welcome to it. If that happens I’ll take monk.

I’m happy to run my Paladin build. I think that I should be able to get to 20 fire resist without an issue and probably 51 or 53 ret damage

This is what I've come up with so far. Please note that I couldn't figure out how to set the Charm of the Elements to Fire on the website, so this should be 20 fire DR, not 15. It's hard to fit in all the fire DR and the hedgehog stuff! Comments welcome, especially if there's any easy fixes I've missed.

2024 GrindHog Fighter

Looks pretty good to me!

I do see a few easy adjustments to lower melee AC: replace Badge of Nobility with Medallion of Nobility, replace IS Garnet Cube with Sea Snake Sphere, and/or replace melee DK Shield with either Brawler's Horn or Brawler's Mug (leaving ranged DK Shield equipped for the set bonus). I would also drop RoSP Segment 6 on principle, even though it won't make a difference right now since Dex is already odd.

I've also linked both of our builds from the roster in the first post, and will do likewise for anyone else who posts a build link.
