I would personally feel better if the sword was multi class and a fighter set is created with the neck and sword. Kilgor's could than be +5 and 19-20 crit with overlap but the set bonus would provide a 18-20 crit and is already class limited. Give it some honorary name and it could be balanced easier going forward without reprinting or being limited by new tokens.

I get what you’re saying… big thing is Fighters don’t feel it’s… Human Fighter worthy and want them to sync with each other. I’d what that too if we got something to pair with Ava’s. Unfortunately I’m kinda biased wanting to power up more my class but, I deff what you guys to have something you like and are proud to wield.

I feel your pain. Everyone wants the massive numbers, but respectfully the paladin is a key party role as they protect the weak (aka wizards). And it’s freaking cool when they one-shot the big baddie in room 7.


But isn’t this also the role of dwarf fighter who takes the first hit so the party doesn’t in a lot of rooms? Dwarf fighters are on the new sword, so I think it is fair for Paladins to get a weapon that does a lot of damage at some point too.

One question I have about a new set of Legendary weapons is will there be Mythic Weapons?

Am I going to want to chase a new legendary just to have it be replaced by a mythic in a year or two? Is a new Legendary going to be part of the recipe for Mythic? Both legendries? Lots of unknows. With the potential of it taking several years to build the resources up to craft these items, players would need to start earlier to be ready when it happens. And we have no idea what issues might come up.

How many of the Legendary weapons really need to be rebalanced anyway? Welfor’s needed a bump due to Asher’s being the same damage. Averon’s is going to need a bump now that Kilgore’s is going to pass it. Besides those, that balance seems fine on the legendary stuff

Yes, Ava’s could use a better damage wheel. Maybe even a larger rework.

This is why I like the idea of sets with legendary weapons and necklaces so that we can balance the weakness in a set bonus. Pally set can just provide +5 damage to make the token more in line with other weapons without reprinting Ava's or just do a pally necklace instead of a new future weapon. Easier to change a paper set bonus each year than reprinting a token I would imagine.

I’m not sure what you mean?

Each class has one signature legendary token. Bards don’t have a legendary neck item, because their signature legendary token is an instrument. It’s not like bards are missing out because their token is an instrument and not a neck slot item.

I completely understand, and get they why and how. But, unless these class legendary weapons are to be made a thing of the past then they have to be brought up to code. I do like the idea of adding a new class item vs a reprint, but I also like the idea of a reprint vs just a digital rework. I know this is coming as Jeff as already put it out there, until then I’ll do the best I can with what I have :) many great teammates to help kill 🙃😎👍
