This aligns better with the total number of helpers at each level. If you want to make all helpers at each level right now you'll need two Safeholds (which gives you a total of 10 Benefit Tokens). With the 10 Tokens you can craft one of each helper but then you will have two left over which are basically useless. So might as well lower the number to 4.

Or don't do that, because if one person wants the full set of 8, they make two safeholds and all 8 helpers, then have an extra safehold to sell/trade...wouldn't it be nice if they had a couple crafter tokens to go along with it?

True. Just feels off that the benefit Tokens don't match up with the number of helpers. But I guess if they do release more down the road then it doesn't really matter.

Random thought has anyone considered a few different graphics for the higher level safeholds?

Ie a spooky castle, an massive tree house, an underwater castle etc.

They could probably be done for the cost of a sticker sheet and let people customize the "feel" of their final dwelling a bit with no impact on game rules.

I think this is a great idea. Pending it's not too much of a headache for TD.

Underling Wizard could use a change so that Druids and Damage Spellcasters aren't double dipping damage with the Rogue and Barbarian respectively. Maybe adjusting the Wizard to be + spell damage and the Cleric to be + healing?

Follower Dragonkin is still underpowered and should be swapped to another slot that isn't expanded already. As in previous thread, the Spectacles and high CHA grant an additional figurine slot. I like Bead or Waist here. Follower Toadkin looks good IF we plan on other UR or UR+ Shins to come out and increase that slots power and viability.

Everything else looks on point.

Thanks for pointing out the Ranged and Focus overlap!

edwin wrote: You may want to make a restriction on underling elf wizard to scrolls specifically useable by your class otherwise this a relic level ability since the Tomb of Useful Spells an URs was errata to be your class specific scrolls.

This is a bit different. It allows ANY class like a Monk to use a Scroll (unmodified) once per game. The Tomb is only open to Spellcasters, but they don't have to turn in the Scroll. Also, the Tomb Scrolls can be modified. Sorry for the confusion! It is a pretty "out there" power...but one that I think fits the token theme of an ancient spellcaster teaching anyone how to use a specific scroll for an upcoming adventure.

Ho-Yi Fung wrote: Under the Safehold IV section (page 3), it says

you can only equip one Underling unless you have a Safehold II (or better)

but everywhere else in the file states the second Underling is only allowed with a Safehold I.

Underling Cleric seems to be in a weird spot. Either Undead Touch is nasty in the module and it's basically a slot lock (or pay the token/action tax via potions), or it's a (mostly) dead token. Perhaps it should be changed to +Heals?

"But won't that stack with +Focus from the Underling Wizard?" you may ask. Well, yes, but given that there's concern over +Focus and +Ranged stacking already, I also support changing Underling Wizard to +Spell and Underling Rogue to +Missile to prevent the +Focus/+Ranged double-dipping and my proposed +Focus/+Heals double-dipping, as well as +Focus/+Melee double-dipping from Polymorph builds (which surprisingly does not seem to have been brought up in this thread yet).

Under the Safehold III section (page 4), the statement

Like Hirelings mentioned under Safehold IV

should probably be updated to say Safehold V.

Also, echoing concerns that Follower Fiend is overpowered (since wrists have slot expanders that give multiple slots) and Follower Dragonkin is underpowered, especially since (as per FAQ thread, but nowhere in the document) it does not stack with the bonus Figurine from high CHA.

Under the Trainer Limits (Hirelings, Underlings and Followers) section (page 5), the paragraph that starts with "Since some collectors might want to create a Safehold I" should probably be de-indented, as it currently looks like it's part of the Safehold III rules. The first sentence is also an incomplete clause; that period should probably be a dash instead.

Great feedback! Thanks a bunch.

apteryx wrote: Hi Jeff,

Looking at page one of the new rules, you have to turn in your Safehold V to make a Safehold IV Under Construction.

You should probably put in the rules that "Under construction" tokens could function as the preceding level for clarifying what tokens you are allowed to run with (so a Safehold IV - Under construction functions as a Safehold V for figuring out what tokens someone is allowed to run with). Otherwise, someone might be in process and not be able to use their safehold follower etc bonus during a con which would be a bummer.

Fixed! Thanks.

Phil Norton wrote: How can you tell Tier 2 vs Tier 1 tokens apart on the token itself? From the front the two examples are the same. Will the back have a Tier 2/1 stamp like our Trade 1/2 does? While the list may be small to start as it grows this will be helpful for coaches and players at a glance.

Adding on to suggest not part of any Golden Ticket treasure bag of tokens. This includes to not include any as a possible bonus items after Golden Ticket runs.
